Lost (Todorokixreader)

chpt 25

You awoke with a start, your eyes blurry and the evening sun forcing you to squint. You felt something heavy on your shoulder, your eyes widened, Todoroki seemed to have fallen asleep as well, his head layed on your shoulder. You couldnt help but smile, that is until you realized the time. You were sure everyone had gone home already.

Aizawa: I'll be home late, go ahead and eat without me.
                                                
Me:  ok, good luck with work

Aizawa: Also, I never expected you to be a fan of Todoroki. You guys seemed close

Your face heated up as You read that last message. A Todoroki fan? You glanced at the peaceful sleeping boy, a fan. You knew he was popular, he had the grades, quirk, looks and money. He was the dream boy of every girls dream and that dreamboy was fast asleep on you. Your hand moved on its own as you slowly brushed his hair with your hand. It felt softer than you expected but nice nonetheless. You leaned your head back as You stared up at the sky, taking off your mask. Many things had happened but never once did you expect this in your future, all your life the only thing you'd known was that small room, those empty cold halls but Aizawa brought you out showed you a life full of fun and joy, and then there was Todoroki, who at first was alarming to be around. You feared what he'd think of you, but now here you were pressed together.

You reached once more to brush his hair  but hesitated was it ok for you to be this close? You shook your head, It didn't matter because whatever feelings you were having weren't important you'd learned that long ago. Suddenly a hand gripped your wrist.

You gasped,"I got tired of waiting for you to pet me again", Todoroki spoke his voice low and husky from his nap, as he brought your hand down on his head.

"Sorry did I wake you?",you asked surprised, you slowly continued to stroke his head.

"I should be the one apologizing. I told you I'd wake you up", he chuckled as he sat up, his gaze moved to the sky,"it's beautiful."

You turned your gaze to the sky too.

"It is", you took a deep breath, and watched as a pair of birds flew by,"I envy the birds."

"Why?", he asked turning to you

"They're free to go anywhere, and do whatever. No one cares",you said as you chuckled,"Stupid right?"

"No", his answer caught you off guard, he gave you a warm smile,"but I think you can be free in your own way."

Silence hung over you as you shook your head and laughed. Earning a grin from him.

"Thanks", you stood up cleaning yourself off the dust,"We should go change into our uniforms."

"Yeah", you extended your hand to him, he looked at it and reached out. You pulled him up to his feet, you both went to change talking about the final and everything else. You both then met at the gate where you sent him home, not wanting him to get home late especially after the final. You were sure he was tired too. You waved as you walked away, you were a pretty good distance from home, when the faint sound of footsteps following you, made you stop.

A small smile appeared on your face as you thought of who it could be Todoroki? But as you focused you soon realized it wasn't him, the footsteps were to heavy to be his and there were more than one, you tensed up as you turned. You could see a dark figure in the distance but soon that figure turned into three as two more appeared behind it. As they approached you could confirm they were NOT Todoroki.
