Chpt 22

Todoroki POV

He gazed at the back of her head as she sat in front of him of him. Many things had happened in the last few days, whatever connection he thought they had, was one sided after her comment about Yaoyorozu. When he first heard her say that, it took him a minute to register he meant him not one of the other boys in the room. It had angered him slightly to see her giving majority of her attention to the others after the moment they had and worse yet to make such a comment. He had never looked at any of the girls in his class in any form of interest, and even before When others commented on it. It didn't bother him but hearing you say those words really ticked him.

Yaoyorozu had called him in during lunch, they talked. He couldn't help but notice that she didn't mention a favor or anything so when he questioned she blushed.

"I wanted to be able to chat with you", this surprised him but he composed himself.

Be didn't want to hurt her, so he went along and chatted. They ended up talking about random things until she mentioned you.

"Musarame is a really kind girl", she said softly.

"She is", he agreed a smile appearing on his face.

"Are you guys close?", she asked.

"I can't say their are moments where I feel we have become close but then it feels like a wall has appeared again", he said

She chuckled,"She a hard one that's for sure, can't tell what shes thinking."

This made him laugh a bit, suddenly the door opened. He looked up to see you, you seemed stiff and almost emotionless. He watched you not knowing if to call out to you or not, until Yaoyorozu did so first. He felt a sense of relief when you replied but frowned when you didn't turn. Suddenly the door slammed open once more and a familair spiky blonde stormed in, not sparing them a glanced as he went to you

"Let's go", he said as be held your arm and pulled you.

"W-Wait my stuff!", you exclaimed, he waited for you to tell him to let go, so he'd have a reason to jump in.

To his surprise the blonde went back to get her things, handed them to her and continuued out the door. He stared dumbfounded after you two.

"Whats up with bakugo?", Kirishima asked as he walked into the room followed by sero, kaminari and Mina.

"I don't know he just took Musarame with him" Yaoyorozu explained as she worriedly glanced at the door,"you don't think he intends to fight her?"

"I doubt it Bakugou may be violent but he didn't have a violent vibe to him right now", Kirishima said as he sat nearby

"Do you think they're going somewhere private?", Kaminari asked wiggling his eyebrows earning a frown from Todoroki.

"You think so?", Sero asked as he titled his head

"Hmm I doubt it" Mina yawned out.

"Whys that?", Kaminari asked her

"Because...",Mina paused and smirked,"I know who Musarame really likes."

"You do?!", they all exclaimed, Todoroki face flushed when he realized he'd asked too

"Wait Musarame can get a crush?!", Kaminari asked,"I thought she was like emotionless."

Kirishima and Yaoyorozu tried getting Mina to spill but she only shook her head and told them they'd have to find out themselves.

And they were here, he couldn't stop from wondering who it could be. And with finals one day away much less. He sighed propping his chin on his hand as he wrote down the notes present Mic was writing on the board. He glanced up when he noticed her scribbling down something, she glanced around and quickly tossed it. He watched as a small folded piece of paper landed on Bakugous desk. The boy looked up as he read the small note, he nodded at the girl and leaned back against the seat. Todoroki could make out he seemed to be scanning the room. The bell rang, dismissing them for their next class. He didnt have time to go over and start a conversation with them as Yaoyorozu appeared out of nowhere. She started speaking about the finals and rumors she heard. Uraraka and Iida joined them, he only listened briefly as he saw Bakugou and her leave the classroom. They didn't return until seconds before the bell rang once more.

That was it for most of the day. She stayed by Bakugou who would blow her off and she'd just have a snarky comment back. This triggered him inside what could be going on for those two to suddenly be so close. Ontop of things he'd noticed how sickeningly clingy Yaoyorozu had turned and worst he couldn't understand why.

After school he searched everywhere for you but couldn't spot you. Or Bakugou for that matter.

"Kirishima", he called out to the red head as he walked down the hall

"O hey Todoroki!", he greeted a smile on his face

"Do you know where I can find Bakugou", he asked as he walked alongside him

"Yeah! I'm actually headed to him! You won't believe what a great teacher he is", he exclaimed as he walked out of the building and into near by forest area.

As they walked he could make out the faint sounds of what seemed to rapid feet moving on the ground. As they neared a clearing their they were. Bakugou was going head on to you. You stood painting in gym clothes, you were knocked back stumbling on the ground. His eyes widened and within a second he found himself throwing fire as he stepped in Bakugous way.

"Todoroki!?", he heard you exclaim from behind him.

"Move it icyhot",Bakugou snapped as he retook his stance

"Wow todoroki calm down", Kirishima butted in as he nervously walked to him.

He only tensed and lowered himself ready to lunged at the blonde.

Bakugou sighed irritated,"Let's take five", he turned and grabbed a water bottle.

He heard you stand up, and watched as you walked over to the blonde who offered you a water. You took it no complaints. Your eyes met for a second, but to his shock you looked away.

"Todoroki my man, relax they're just training", Kirshima explained as he wrapped an arm around his shoulders

"Training?.."
