I never talked to a general before. Right now, I already knew how really strict and stubborn they were. We entered the general’s white room with nothing but a table with papers and picture frame. It have a picture of a girl playing. That picture frame was really out of place.
“I’d been informed that you can’t remember a thing.” General Atrom said.“Well, I remember encountering a monster and a coin turning to a sword.” I confirmed.
He gave a look at Andrei who suddenly took interest on the floor.
“Please don’t blame him. He’s just trying to protect us.” I said.
Unfortunately, he didn’t take it. “That’s not an excuse. When it comes to security and safety of all, our topmost priority is to keep this organization unknown to human kind.”
“We’re just making precautions that you may expose us. That’s one of the two reasons why we kept you here,” he added.
“And what the other one?” I asked with worry.
“As what Sergeant Andrei described, you caused an awful row in your school.” He replied.
“You really kinda lose control there, Ela.” Andrei commented.
“What?” I exclaimed.
“It’s good thing I knocked you out before the SWAT take you over.” he added.
I stayed silent. I looked at my hands. Did I really do those things?
“What’s happening to me?,” I whispered.
I looked at Andrei with fear in my eyes. It’s the fear of hurting others especially the ones you love. What if I hurt them without knowing it?
“Ela, don’t worry.” Andrei started to walk towards me but I backed away.
“No, I don’t want to hurt you.”
“Ela…”
I bolted for the doors and run away from them as quickly as possible. Alarms woke up. I tried to find a way out of here when soldier started to appear in my way.
Luckily, I manage to dodge from all of them. I don’t know how but it doesn’t matter.
Finally, I found a way out and entered a dark forest alone.
