The cheers made by the audience were loud. The loud noise of the ball bouncing to the floor, the shoes, their shouts, all of it are filled here in the basketball court.

"Rosiolado for three!"

Agad kaming pumalakpak ng maka score ng three points si Ervin. His twin was busy shouting at him while the rest of us just clapped our hands.

Everytime Ervin will score, Erwin is always shouting that's why people kept staring at us. Well, maybe he's just proud to his twin.

Ngayon ko lang din nalaman na basketball player pala si Ervin. Kaya pala noong mga nakaraang araw, hindi ko siya laging nakikita. Busy pala sya, pero bakit may time pa rin syang sumabay sa amin kapag may lakad kami?

I'm not really fond of basketball. I don't like it, but I don't hate it either. But watching Ervin play basketball is nice. Ganito siguro kapag gusto mong suportahan ang kaibigan mo.

It's already on the last minute of the fourth quarter, and based on the score, siguradong mananalo sila Ervin.

Biglang nag-ingay yung cellphone ko kaya tiningnan ko muna kung sino yung tumatawag.

It was from Mom.

I quickly excused myself at lumabas muna sa court bago sinagot yung tawag.

"Yes, Mom?"

"Kei, hindi kami makakauwi ng papa mo ngayong gabi. Make sure na safe kang makakauwi ha? Pasundo ka kay Mang Bert okay?"

"Okay po. Mag-ingat po kayo ni papa."

"Sige. Take care."

Lately, they both tried their best na sumabay sa akin every dinner. And it's really nice to eat dinner with your family.

When Mom ended the call, nabigla nalang ako nang biglang may yumakap sakin sa likod.

"Nanalo sila Ervin!" Tin shouted at me. Wow. "This calls for a celebration! Balik tayo sa loob. We'll take some pictures."

Bumalik kami sa loob ng court and it was more noisy than before. Ang daming greetings na nangyayari, pictures, and that's when I see them waving at us.

Nang makalapit na kami ay agad akong pumunta kay Ervin. "Congrats. I'll give you my gift later."

"Talaga? Thank you Keila." he said. His varsity shirt and hair is soaking wet. Beads of sweat was also on his face down to his neck. He doesn't seem tired at all even though he was running the whole game. "Let's take pictures guys!"

Ervin called one of his friends to take us some pictures. Lumapit agad kami sa isa't isa. I was at the center. Rylle, Erwin and Keith is on my left while Ervin and Tin is on my right. We smiled as the guy took the picture.

"Teka lang. Palit tayo Ervin." sabi ni Keith sabay palit ng pwesto kay Ervin sa tabi ko. "Ayan, much better."

"Okay. One, two, three..."

We smiled again. We took lots of pictures with different postures. Nang ma-satisfied na kami ay nagpasalamat kami sa lalaki at lumabas na ng court. Ervin was left behind because he still have something to do pero sabi niya ay susunod nalang daw sya.

"Saan tayo ngayon?" Rylle asked. I looked at the center of the school.

Since first day ng Intramurals ngayon, everybody's busy. There were booths everywhere. Kitang-kita sa mga mukha ng mga tao dito na nasisiyahan sila.

Back then, I would always stay at my room and just read some books while listening to music. I would even go home early. But this year's different, of course.
