All I can see in my table are notebooks, sticky notes on the wall, pens and reviewers everywhere.

I closed my eyes and take deep breaths. Gosh! This is so frustrating! How I hate exams.

Sa totoo lang, pwede naman na hindi na ako mag review kasi nakinig naman ako sa mga lessons ng teachers namin. But I still need to review kasi baka may nakalimutan ako. And added by the fact that my parents wanted me to review for atleast two hours.

At sa loob ng two hours na 'yon, pagod na ako. Whenever I read some books, I can almost see the words dancing in front of my eyes. That's why I need to rest.

Someone knocked on my door. I stood up to see who it is and when I opened it, I saw my mom bringing me a milk and a coffee.

"Mama, pasok po kayo."

She smiled at me as she slowly entered my room. She put down the glass of milk and coffee on my bed table and scan the whole room.

Mom is already on her late forty's. She's getting thinner and have heavy eye bags. She's usually sound asleep now since it's already ten in the evening. But I never thought that she'll come here. She's actually the most pretty girl that I've known. Well, of course, she's my mom.

As she scanned the room, her eyes stopped at my study table. Who wouldn't anyway? It's so messy because of the books and stuffs pasted on the wall.

"Don't push yourself too hard, Keila. But always remember to prioritize your grades."

Huh? I don't get it. Mom's still looking at my stuff so I took a glance on where she's looking and that's when I noticed her staring at a picture frame.

Yung picture namin sa Intramurals.

"They're my friends, Ma." I introduced them.

Her mouth went open but smile a little. She looked at me and I can see how tired she is from her work.

"I know." she replied. "It's a good thing that you recognize them as your friend. You usually deny it before, you know."

Oh, right. That moment when Mang Bert saw me with Rylle.

"I'll bring back the coffee. Drink your milk and go to sleep. Goodnight."

"Goodnight, Ma."

Kinuha niya ang kape sa bed table at saka lumabas sa kwarto ko. Nang makalabas na sya ay saka ko lang din ininom ang gatas.

I looked at the frame on my study table. Nakapag review na kaya sila?

I opened my messenger at nakita kong online sila kaya nag chat ako.
