Klaus' pov

Even though I couldn't sleep at night and had a very bad jet lag, that wasn't going to stop me from spending the day with Ayla.

Ayla.

My girl.

Everyone knew that I had a soft spot for her and I was very sensitive when it came to her. It is mostly because of the fact that I thought that she's out of my league and I was shocked when she agreed to be my girlfriend.

It was like an honour for me. She was so beautiful and exquisite whereas I've always considered myself as average. However, she made me a better person. She really helped me build my self-esteem and confidence. She made me more humble and kind. She got rid of my bad habits and replaced them with numerous good ones.

It was Sunday which meant I get to spend the entire day with her. And tonight, we had to attend a party which was kept for me since I had cracked a huge deal in London.

First we go to the Church. I'm not very religious but it makes Ayla happy. And I'd go anywhere if it made her happy.

"What are you doing here mister? Shouldn't you be catching up on some sleep so you aren't drowsy at night?" Ayla scolded me soon as she saw me.

"And miss spending time with you? I don't think so." I side-hugged her and took a deep breath close to her hair.

Cocoa butter.

Her hair smelled like cocoa butter and it was a smell which could keep me sane but also drive me crazy.

"But I should warn you, I have to go to quite a few places today. So don't blame me if you're tired at the end of the day." She clarified.

"Do I ever blame you for anything, my love?"

"Not that you do, but still."

"So what if I'm tired, I'll get a chance to get a massage from you." I smirked at her and she hit me playfully.

"Come on, let's go." She said and pulled me out of the church after the sermon was over.

We went to an orphanage which was just near the church. As soon as we entered, a bunch of kids rushed up to Ayla and hugged her. I just stood up at a distance and admired her since I wasn't too good with kids.

She was such a natural with kids, like she didn't even have to try to make them like her.

And me? This kid was laughing and as soon as he saw me, he stopped.

"Klaus! Why are you standing there, come here!" Ayla called out and I went up to her.

"Guys, this is my boyfriend Klaus, say hi." She instructed the kids and they did as she told.

"Klaus, like Santa Claus?" A girl questioned and I couldn't help but laugh.

"But why isn't your beard white?"

"Why aren't you wearing your red and white robe?"

"Where is your hat?"

"And it isn't even Christmas yet!"

"And you don't have any presents!"

I heard the kids say and I was impressed at how smart and observant they were.

"Well, he's an undercover Santa who came to surprise you guys! And who said we don't have presents? Sure we do!" Ayla handled the questions and then pulled out a big bag.

"CHOCOLATES!" They screamed as they opened the bag and indulged in the yummy goodness.

We sat with them for some more time, and thankfully they took a liking to me, although the credit goes to Ayla.
