"you're telling me that my mother may or may not have been kidnapped by someone and you don't even know who it is?"

"yes jacob." lissa said shipping her coffee. "and why should i trust you?"

"because i'd never lie to you."

"and you just did literally just now." i said crossing my arms.

"jake look i know in the past we've had our differences -"

"differences? you lied. cheated and you expect me to believe you after everything?!" i slightly yelled.

"jaco -"

"jakey." i turned my head and saw cheryl standing there. i quickly stood up.

"hey babe i thought you had cheer practice."

"i cancelled it early there was some girl trouble."

"oh?"

"yeah um who's this?" she asked

"right. cheryl this is alissa. alissa this is my girlfriend cheryl." i introduced them.

"so you're jacob's new boo. you're better than i am expected." lissa stood up as they shook hands.

"well jakey if you're free wanna walk me home?" cheryl suggested me knowing that she really didn't want to be here with lissa.

"yeah of course. see you later lissa." i said as me and cheryl walked out of pop's.

"so what's with the hobo?" she said as we walked down the street.

i chuckled at her nickname for alissa. "nothing she's just some girl i knew from where i used to be." i slightly lied.

"so what happened today?" i asked her.

"well i saw archie and ponytail betty kissing in the music room."

my eyes widened as i heard those words come out of her mouth. "what? you're joking right?"

"i never joke when it comes to affairs archie has while in a relationship with veronica."

"damn that's so fucked up."

"don't worry veronica can take care of herself she told them both off in front of everyone." she said

i raised an eyebrow. "including jug?"

"yep. who knows maybe they will end up together."

i chuckled "would that he such a bad thing?" i asked

"no, but i just don't want her doing it because she's heartbroken."

when we finally arrived at her place i stopped at the door. "aren't you coming in?" she asked facing me.

"i would but i feel like i should have a talk with archie about what happened. maybe knock some sense into him."

she smiled. "just don't get knocked back." she giggled

"i won't me vs. archie i always win." i smirked
