Chapter 20

JAKE'S POV

As the silence hit my house it felt more strange than when it was before. i was quiet yes, but i expected to hear something like a knock on my door or maybe just even a phone, bit nothing.

i started to think to myself. ‘ what's going on? ’ like seriously is no one worried about me or let alone is no one in trouble. not that that's
the only reason i care it's just i'm bored.

i don't talk to archie anymore, nor jughead and i'm definitly not talking to betty. i would call cheryl, but who knows she may be busy or sleeping either way i'm not gonna bother her, so i just watched movies and ate snacks until i grew hungry for real food and started walking to pop's. 

When I walked inside I saw her, I saw Cheryl. It's strange and funny how I see her now oh, but she didn't call me text me or even come over at all which made it even more strange for me. as I walked up to thoughts just started racing through my head I don't even know why it couldn't have been maybe it was what I thought it was.

“Cheryl...” I said softly as she turned around to face me her eyes widen and shock that's a slightly grew in both anger and sadness I already knew what was to come.

“what are you doing here Jacob?” she asked making me raise my eyebrows. “what do you mean what am I doing here? You know call you don't text don't even show up or anyting and you're the one questioning me.”

“too late Jake she already knows.” I turned around slowly and of course all thanks standing not too far from me. My hands balled up into fist as I so badly wanted to just come towards him and rip f****** face off.

“i can't believe you.” Cheryl said making me grow soft as I undid my fist and turn back to face her. “Cheryl listen to me....”

“no you listen to me! I thought everything that we had what's a real. That I finally found someone who could be there and love me for who I am, but instead you just like everybody else jake. You don't care.”

“don't even say that! I do care! I do care about you and everyone else around me. Cheryl you're not broken you're not alone because I love you! I love you for who you are. so I'm going to be honest with you yes yes I like f****** did it okay. I agreed to his dare, but that all changed I swear. Cheryl I would never do anything to hurt you or harm you in any way. After a while I never even knew it existed that it was just you and me and we were going to be like this forever but I know how this turns out and I know that you're not going to believe me. So I'm going to save myself the trouble I'm going to walk out of here on my own not caring that you won't come after me.” I said confidently and quickly walked out of pops going back to my house before slightly trashing the place punching through walls slamming picture frames anything else you name it.

I started packing up my bags realizing that riddles a piece of s*** Riverdale just makes you want to do something better, but it makes you also think that you had something better before you even started.......
