We decided to eat lunch at Rosa's.
"Hey guys" Ryan smiles as he greets us as we go in Rosa's.
Ryan's smile fades away as he notices Oscar.
Oscar and Cesar don't say anything but just look around.
"I'm sorry hi Ryan" I smile as he takes us to our seats and hands us the menu.
I wave as he walks off.
"Cesar just because he's your ex crush's boyfriend doesn't mean you have to be rude." I groan flipping through the menu.
"Ex love" Cesar mutters under his breath.
Me and Oscar make eye contact before giggling.
"Pshhh love what do you know" Oscar laughs.
"More than you know. You've never had an actual girlfriend cause everyone's scared of you." Cesar groans. "You only date hoes"
Oscar remains quite as he looks down at menu.
I felt bad.
Cesar was being a dick.
"Cesar why don't you get us drinks?" I smile patting him on the back as he gets up.
"Hey I'm sorry about him" I whisper.
"You don't have to be. It's okay" Oscar smiles.
"so I heard you got stood up" He whispers changing the conversation.
"Erm yeh" I laugh awkwardly.
Eugh does Cesar have to tell everyone.
"You know if I took you on a date you wouldn't have gotten stood up." Oscar jokes causing me to giggle.
"and you would've went back to prison" Cesar laughs as he places the drinks on the table.
"Not if I was 18" I laugh before realising what I said.
Cesar didn't seem to realised but Oscar did.
A smile grew on Oscars face and he quickly hides it with the menu.
My phone starts receiving a bunch of messages from Latrelle.
"Don't tell me it's guys from school asking you out." Cesars sighs.
"I'll be back. Gotta go make a call" I smile as I exit Rosa's.
"Hey Latrelle" I say as I put the phone to my ear.
"Hey Alma. I'm sorry I didn't pick you up. Prophet shit came up" he says.
"is every okay" I ask worried.
"don't worry about it. I'm free now. You wanna hang out" he asks.
I turn to look in the restaurant to see Oscar and Cesar laughing.
"I'm busy studying. Another time?" I ask.
"Another time. Have fun studying" Latrelle smiles before hanging up.
