I slowly lift my head off Latrelle's chest and rub my eyes to get a better look at the time.

8pm.

Dad was gonna be home soon.

"You wanna go home?" Latrelle whispers as his eyes flutter open.

I give him a nod.

Now we were sat in his car.

I rested my head against the window trying not to drift back to sleep.

"That nap was good" Latrelle yawns as he pulls up into my driveway.

"It was" I smile leaning into a kiss.

He leans in too as he begins to cup my face with his hands.

"See you later" He whispers as I exit the car. "and think about that maybe"

I give him a nod as I watch him driveaway.

My phones pings with a bunch of notifications as I head inside.

"What the" I whisper to myself as I scroll though the hundreds of messages left by Jamal and Ruby.

I sigh in frustration and throw my phone on the couch.

"I need ice cream" I whisper before rushing into the kitchen.

I notice the note on the fridge.

I'll be home late. Here's some money buy yourself dinner.

I scrunch the note up and throw it into the bin.

Obviously I missed.

My phone begins ringing again. I storm back into the living room.

"Ruby" I sigh rolling my eyes.

I decide to answer.

"What do you wan-" I sighs before getting interrupted.

"Alma you better come over to Cesars. Monse's going crazy" Ruby screams before hanging up the call.

Monse's crazy wasn't the normal type of crazy.

I quickly rush out the door and make my way over to Cesar's house as fast as I could.

I reach there within minutes to see Monse tackling Cesar on the ground.

"What the" I shout.

Monse and Cesar notice me and push eachother away.

The boys help Monse up while I help Cesar up.

"It's fine" Cesar scoffs trying to push me away.

"Fine then" I shout pushing him back on the ground.

As I begin to storm off, I flip everyone off.

"Fuck you all" I whisper looking at everyone especially at Cesar.

I made sure to wave my middle finger directly at him.

Monse chases after me.

"Alma wait" Monse shouts grabbing my arm.

"What is wrong with you?" I sigh turning to face her.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you that me and Cesar slept together" She cries..

"Monse it's fine" I whisper.

"It's not fine. I slept with your boyfriend and you don't even care" Monse snaps.

"He's not my boyfriend and he never was. The whole thing was a lie" I snap back.

She wipes away her tears trying to understand what I meant.

"I lied" I whisper.

Everyone was confused.

"Alma don't" Cesar whispers walking up to me.

I put my hand out stopping me.

"Stay away" I whisper.

"What do you mean you lied?" Monse whispers looking me straight in the eye.

I take in a deep breath before looking back at her.

"I lied to get you off my back. You kept pressuring me to date Cesar and now I know why" I snap.

Everyone looks at me confused.

"You guys like each other but you're too afraid to tell eachother" I sigh staring at the both of them.

I watch as everyone stood there in shock including the santos.

Jeez. Was everyone really this blind?

"Bye" I snap as I storm away.

"Alma wait" Oscar shouts chasing after me.

He crosses the road to get to me.

"I told Cesar not to tell you" Oscar whispers as we walk down the sidewalk.

"What" I whisper.

"About joining the Santos. I didn't want you to hate me" He whispers.

"It's fine. I don't care anymore. I just wanna go home and be alone" I snap causing Oscar to stop walking.

His face saddens.

As I continue to walk.

Oscar calls out my name.

"You want a ride?" Oscar asks.

I stop walking and turn to face him.

"I'm fine. I can walk home" I sigh.

"I'll walk with you" Oscar shouts catching up to me.

I roll my eyes and him and cross my arms.

"I'll be quite. I promise" Oscar smiles.

"The whole way home?" I whisper as I begin to smile.

"The whole way home" Oscar nods putting his hands in his pockets.

For once Oscar actually listened to me.

"Is that er-" Oscar whispers.

"Quite" I giggle covering his mouth.

I want to hate him. I really do.

But everyone time I'm with him I feel the opposite to hate.
