We're Done

I could not sleep at all.

I couldn't stop thinking about Cesar.

Was he really going to join the Santos?

My alarm clock interrupted my train of thoughts.

Monse's eyes flutter open as the sunlight hits her face.

"You're already awake" She laughs sitting up on the bed.

I give her a smile before letting out a yawn.

"You sure you still want to this?" I ask hoping we wouldn't have to go over to Cesar's.

"Yes Alma. This is serious" Monse sighs as she gets off the bed.

As she left to go to the bathroom. I pulled out my phone to see if Cesar had replied to any of my messages.

He didn't.

He just left me on read.

"This dick" I whisper throwing my phone on my bed.

"What did you say?" Monse asks peeking her head out the bathroom.

"Nothing" I smile.

Okay now this was starting to get on my nerves.

For breakfast Dad made us scrambled eggs with toast.

"This is amazing. Thanks Gustavo" Monse smiles trying to eat quick as she could.

"Its just egg and bread" Dad whispers looking at her confused.

Monse begins to motioning me to eat quicker.

"You guys alright?" Dad asks still confused.

"Yeah. She's just excited to go over to Cesars" I awkwardly smile.

Dad gives us a smile before walking off.

"Monse calm down" I snap. "Cesars not going anywhere"

"I know. I'm just really nervous and angry" She sighs.

"I am too" I whisper.

A couple blocks of walking we finally reached Cesars road.

We were couple of houses away from his.

"The boys say they'll meet us there" Monse whispers as she puts her phone back into her pocket.

I give her a nod.

"You ready?" She asks.

Yes I am ready. Ready to shout at Cesar.

I give her a nod and she places a hand on my shoulder.

"Don't worry" She whispers.

I wasn't worried about confronting Cesar. I was worried about confronting him infront of the santos.

After what they did to Latrelle I saw them differently now.
