Monday's were the worst.

Yesterday's conversation with Latrelle got me thinking.

Maybe I could introduce him to dad and my friends.

Maybe dating a prophet isn't such a bad thing.

I thought back to Cesar yesterday and how much he hated seeing Latrelle in the car park.

If Cesar and Oscar found out I was dating Latrelle. All hell would break loose.

So that 'maybe' is a never.

I dreaded Monday mornings. I dreaded school.

"Have fun at school" Dad jokes pulling me into a hug.

I playfully push him as I exit the car.

As I exit the car. I watched as his car drive away but I wasn't stood alone. Cesar was stood by me.

"Alma" Cesar smiles as we hug.

We begin to walk through the school gates.

Monse joins us too.

I haven't talked to her in ages. I really missed her.

"Hey" I smile.

Monse looks at me as a smile grew on her face.

"Come here" She smiles pulling me into a giant hug.

"I'm sorry I lied" I whisper.

"I'm sorry for pressuring you" she replies.

"Friends?" I smile.

She nods.

"Group huuuuug" Jamal screams running up to us.

He pulls us all into a hug.

"I can't breat-" Cesar whispers gasping for air.

We all pull apart before noticing Ruby walking into school. With Olivia.

"Not this again" I sigh as I watch the boys facial expressions.

The whole school watched her.

Is it just me or is she walking in slow motion?

Me and Monse smack Jamal and Cesar.

"Hey guys" Olivia smiles walking up to us.

The boys stood there in silence causing me and Monse to roll our eyes.

"Hey" I awkwardly reply.

We stood there in silence.

She's been here for weeks and I've barely gotten to know her.

The bell rings and Olivia waves us goodbye.

The gang watch as she leaves for first period.
