Malia's POV:

December 01, 2010

My heart was racing, standing here in silence was making my nerves jump.

"It's time Malia. Are you ready?"

I looked up at my father who was dressed in a tux. I took one last look in the mirror of the small room I was in and let out a shaky breath as I nodded. I was dressed in a casual white wedding dress and my nerves were getting the best of me. I didn't have cold feet, I was excited to become a Conlon, it was just genuine nerves striking. My father reached his arm out and I took it, I wrapped my arm around his and he kept me on my shaky feet.

"You look amazing, Malia. My little girl is so grown up, I couldn't be prouder of you."

I smiled, "Thank you, dad, that means a lot to me."

We got to the small walkway and our guests rose. Tommy was at the end of the walkway with a priest, I locked eyes with him and smiled. He looked surprised, he held a smile to his face as I got closer to him. My mother was here as well along with Sebastian, Tommy refused to invite Brendan which I couldn't blame him for. He still feels like Brendan abandoned him and his mother. Obviously, Pilar, Manny, Maria, and Danny were here. Some of Tommy's squad members were here with their kids which included Justin, Mariana, and Alex. As one of their gifts to us, my parents hired a photographer for us. There were only a few people here but it was perfect for Tommy and I. Pilar was my maid of honor and Manny was Tommy's best man. The smiling faces were so contagious and my nerves faded into joy. I kept my eyes on Tommy and as we got closer, I noticed that he had tears in his eyes. My dad kissed my cheek and shook Tommy's hand, he then guided my hand to Tommy's and I got in line with him while my father sat next to my mother. Tommy took both of my hands in his and we smiled at each other, he blinked his tears away as our guests sat down.

"We are gathered here today to celebrate one of life's greatest moments, and to cherish the words which shall unite Malia Summers and Thomas Conlon in marriage. Marriage is the promise between two people who love each other, and who trust in that love, who honor each other as individuals, and who choose to spend the rest of their lives together. This ceremony will not create a relationship that does not already exist between you. It is a symbol of how far you have come these past few years. It is a symbol of how far you have come these past few years. It is a symbol of the promises you will make to each other to continue growing stronger as individuals and as partners. No matter what challenges you face, you now face them together, and No matter how much you succeed, you now succeed together. The love between you joins you now as one. The Bride and Groom have a few words to share."

Tommy smiled at me and I nodded, "Today, I, Thomas Ryan Conlon, ask you, Malia Ryann Summers, to be my wife as my best friend and my love. On this day I affirm the relationship we have enjoyed, looking to the future to deepen and strengthen it. I will be yours in plenty and in want, in sickness and in health, in failure and in triumph. Together we will dream, we will stumble but restore each other, we will share all things, serving each other and our fellow humanity. I will cherish and respect you, comfort and encourage you, be open with you, and stay with you as long as we shall live, freed and bound by our love. I promise to love you every day, to be open and honest with you, even when facing my darkest fears. I will keep you safe, give you the attention you deserve, and treasure you."

I smiled and looked down as he took the ring that Danny handed to him, he put it on my finger and I nodded. "On this special day, I give to you in the presence of God and all these witnesses my promise to stay by your side, in sickness, and in health, in joy and in sorrow, as well as through the good times and the bad. I promise to love you without reservation, comfort you in times of distress, encourage you to achieve all of your goals, laugh with you and cry with you, grow with you in mind and spirit, to always be open and honest with you, and cherish you for as long as we both shall live. Thomas Ryan Conlon, I, Malia Ryann Summers have loved you since the day I met you, I have waited 7 years for this day, to call you my husband. On this day, I give all of myself to you. I love you."

He smiled and squeezed my hand as I was handed a ring from Maria. I put the ring on Tommy's finger and smiled up at him. "Do you, Thomas Conlon, take Malia Summers to have and to hold, to be your wife until the end of time?"

"I do,"

I smiled and squeezed his hand. "And do you, Malia Summers, take Thomas Conlon to have and to hold, to be your husband until the end of time?"

"I do,"

He smirked at me and I smiled back. "I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride."

Tommy didn't hesitate to let go of my hands and wrap his arms around me. He pulled me into him and set his lips on mine gently, I smiled into the kiss. There were claps heard and after a few moments, Tommy and I broke the kiss. We kept our foreheads together and I laughed lightly. "I love you, Tommy."

"I love you too,"

He grabbed my hand in his and led me to our family and friends. We didn't have anything fancy planned, no honeymoon, no reception, just a gathering at our home with my parents, Seb, and Manny's family. Tommy and I were the last ones to enter the house and we were met with applause, we both smiled and looked at each other. This was the greatest feeling in the world, I was finally married to my best friend. "Before we start any partying, we have a surprise for the newlyweds!" Manny spoke.

Tommy and I both had confused looks and Manny motioned to our back door. We walked over to it and opened the door, there were lights set up and the backyard was decorated beautifully. It was romantic and gorgeous, Tommy and I walked out the door followed by our guests. "This is beautiful, Manny. Thank you."

"Don't thank me, it was your brother's idea."

I smiled and looked at Sebastian, "You did this?"

He nodded and I walked over and gave him a hug. "Thank you,"

"Of course. It's your special day Malia,"

I smiled and pulled out o the hug. I was met with hugs in every direction and I gladly accepted all of them. There was some subtle music that began playing, Sebastian was being our personal DJ, everyone paired up and began dancing. It was my first ever dance with Tommy and it was amazing, I felt so safe when I was in his arms. I knew he loved me and I was so in love with him, I was finally a Conlon even though I really have been my whole life.

A couple of hours passed and it was getting late, speeches had been said by both of my parents and Manny. Maria and Danny were asleep in our living room as we said our goodbyes to Manny and Pilar. Tommy had offered to help them carry Danny and Maria home but they declined, even though Manny was on crutches, he didn't accept help from anyone, similar to Tommy. We said goodbye to my family, they didn't want to stay with us because they felt they would be 'intruding'. "We are so proud of you, Malia." My mom whispered in the hug.

I smiled, "Thank you." They walked out, Tommy and I watched as they got in their car and drove away. I smiled at him and he pulled me into him while smiling at me, "I love you,"

"I love you too, Mrs. Conlon."

I blushed and reached up to wrap my arms around him, I pulled him into a kiss and we both smiled. We were relaxed and happy at the moment, I couldn't express just how happy I truly was...
