Malia's POV:

We walked to a bar that was just a mile from the hotel, and it was on the beach. We were seated and the place was shockingly dead, there were only a few other people here but maybe it's because it's just going on 11.

I sat across from Tess with Tommy next to me in the booth, Brendan was across from Tommy. I was happy to be back with Tommy, and now my brother-in-law and sister-in-law are here too. It's a great feeling and this is going to be one of my favorite memories. The waiter walked over to us and smiled, "What can I get started for you guys?"

"I'll take a beer," Tommy spoke with a smile on his face.

"I will too," Brendan added.

"Me as well," Tess said with a smile.

I wanted to shrink down, I was so happy to see Tommy that I didn't even think to tell him about Baby Conlon. "I'll have water, please."

"I'll get those for you right away," She said as she walked away.

Tommy gave me a confused look, "No beer?"

I shook my head, "I'm not feeling it tonight."

Tommy looked confused, I glanced at Tess and she locked eyes with me. "Are you feeling okay?" Tommy asked with a laugh.

"Yeah, of course. Just doesn't sound good right now,"

He nodded, "Okay,"

We talked to Brendan and Tess for hours, both Brendan and Tommy ended up pretty hammered, Tess and I had to babysit them to make sure they didn't do anything stupid. Especially with Tommy having his arm in a brace. The four of us were walking down the beach at 2 in the morning, Tommy and Brendan were both similar drunks but fortunately were nothing like their father. They both rambled on and on about everything. It was honestly really entertaining, Tommy was currently looking up at the sky talking about how beautiful the stars looked while Brendan was talking about the sand and how it sunk down with every step you take. Tess and I were both laughing our asses off as we helped them both stay on their feet.

We made it back to the hotel, Tess and Brendan got off the elevator first. I waved goodbye to Tess and the elevator went up a few more floors before stopping. Tommy and I walked out of the elevator and I got him to the room, and when I walked in with Tommy, the tv was on. I drew my eyebrows together as I shut the door, "Tommy?" The voice called out. I glanced up at Tommy who seemed to sober up just at the sound of the voice. Tommy gently pushed me behind him and I looked over his shoulder to see his father walk out of his room. "Where have you been?"

"I was out with Brendan, Tess, and Malia."

"You were?"

Tommy nodded, "Pop, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for what I said."

Paddy shook his head, "I'm the one that should be sorry, Tommy. I took away your childhood and I'm very sorry about that."

Tommy didn't move, "I hope I don't regret this," Tommy grabbed my hand and I stepped to his side. "Pop, this is my wife, Malia."

Paddy's face lit up, "Wife, huh? My daughter-in-law?"

I nodded with a small smile on my face. "Nice to see you again,"

Paddy smiled, "Well, I'm going to go listen to some stories in my room if you happen to need me,"

Both Tommy and I nodded. Paddy turned the tv off in the living room and walked to his room. He shut the door and I looked up at Tommy, he was smiling down at me. "What're you smiling at?"
