AGDTR : Chapter 2

Chapter 2 : Mr. Thief

"Come on,just let me get some fresh air",I begged.

"But your highness,going outside can be a threat for you.And the king ordered not to let you out.",I pouted at her.

Being a princess is really hard! I hate it. Everyday I saw the other girls having fun,visiting the market everyday,and playing a lot of games,while I am here,doing nothing but to study.

"Let me out or..",I tried to threaten her.

"I am really sorry your highness,but--"

I hate running while wearing a dress because it's not really helpful,but seems like I don't have any options left.

I ran as fast as I can and I never thought this could be so much fun.The guards are chasing me and I can hear Mrs. Seon shouting my name.

Escaping from them is really hard,but once you reached the public market,not anymore.You can distract them easily because of the crowd.So I ran in different directions,and I could say this is like a maze.

I am not really familiar here outside because they won't let me out.

"Princess!",I heard them shouted.I quickly entered a room,without knowing who and what is inside.

But thankfully,its just a library.It is dark here inside but I could say they have a lot of old books here.Who's obsessed with old books? Uhm,not me!

"Find her,or else we will all be in trouble! Don't tell the king about this,understood?!",I realized they're still outside,so an idea came to my mind.

I saw a dress that looks pretty decent and I think that would help me to disguise myself.I grabbed it together with a book,and as soon as I wore the dress,the guards entered.

So I sat down,facing the wall while pretending to read the book.

"My apologies for disturbing you madam,but have you seen a princess passing by? Just by any chances.",I almost laughed.They literally have no idea that I am the one they're finding.

But I tried to hold back my laughter,changed my tone a little lower then answered him."A princess passing by? I would be so honored to see her in person but I am sorry,I didn't saw her"

"Thank you,we will leave now"

After they left,I stood up and decided to have a quick walk.I need to go back to the palace soon because my dad would find out I disobeyed him.And I don't want the guard and Mrs. Seon to get in trouble too.

I am a bit considerate,or maybe not.

Luckily,no one notices that I am the princess because they barely see me in person.So I walked in the market with a great smile on my face.I also bought some snacks for the homeless children here.

They played a lot but they're still full of energy.I am jealous.

I continued walking and noticed a man running towards me,did he noticed me? Oh shoot!

"Get out!"

My dad would find out! He would never let me get out again next time.

"Get out of my way!"

I hope I can still sneak out of the palace,but I guess it would take a couple of years.

"Shit!",my shoulders hurt,wait,how?!

I realized the guy running is now staring at me with anger.Oh,now I know.He bumped at me,and a lot of diamonds are scattered on the floor.

"I told you to get out of my way! Look at what you did! You are lucky I'm in hurry right now",he then left.

"Princess? Princess Seya! Oh my God,we finally found you! Are you hurt? What did that thief said? Did he threatened you? I am sorry your highness",Yuri,the leader of the guards,bowed.

"I don't know how to start answering you,uhm,I am not hurt,he said I am lucky he's in hurry,he did not,and don't be sorry.I should be the one who's apologizing",I replied.

And I also noticed we did quite a scene.All of the people are staring at us,mumbling something.

'Oh,she's the princess?'

'She's pretty,I hope I could be her husband'

'Her life must've been hard,the king won't let her leave the palace to get some fresh air'

"Everyone who's bad-mouthing the princess will receive a punishment!",Yuri said with authority.And just like that,everyone got quiet.

"Let's leave now,your highness.Or else all of us will got scolded by the king"

I think it's midnight when I heard someone opening the door.I am having a nice sleep!

"Mrs. Seon?",I called.

No one responded,so I stood up to see who opened the door.

I saw a someone wearing black,he's also wearing mask,preventing me to see his whole face but his eyes.

"Don't you dare shout if you still want to live---YOU?!",I was shocked by his sudden shout.

"Yes mister i-don't-know-who-you-are,I am the princess.And if you are trying to steal something from me,don't you ever try.",I replied,pretending that I am brave.

He approached me then he grabbed a knife.I felt a cold,sharp thing at my neck as soon as he got close to me.

"Look who's here,I can now take my revenge to you,did you know the trouble you caused me?",I suddenly got confused.

"First of all,I don't know you,second,I am pretty sure that I am not the one caused you trouble because I can barely get out here,third,who the hell are you?"

He removed his mask.Revealing his small face.

His eyes were both green,his sharp nose is as sharp as the knife that will kill me anytime soon.He also have a nice pinky lips.

Okay this is not the time to admire someone's beauty.But it feels like I've seen him before.

I think I met him recently..this thief is getting into my nerves!

Thief?

THIEF! That's it!
