Today's Saturday, which means i have more free time. I got plans though. I'm going to visit Jimin once he gets home from the hospital. I want to buy some of Grandma's rice cakes too, my mom said they're delicious.
I get down with jolly mood and greet my parents in the dining room, as usual.
"I see you stopped going home with Taehyung these days. What happened?"
I turn to my dad, slightly confused. Since when did he care about his daughter's life? The only thing he cares about is his business.
"We kinda had a small fight. Don't worry dad, i want him to stop being my personal chauffeur anyway." I shrug, pretending to be nonchalant about it.
In fact, every time i think about that guy, i'm pissed.
"And you've been hanging out with some other guy. It's not just a small fight. Who's he?"
My eyes widen at my dad's statement. "How do you know, dad?"
His gaze turns to me from his laptop, saying. "You shouldn't be hanging out with somebody impoverished, you know that right?"
His word was too hard for me to understand, but i kinda get the meaning behind it.
"Why is that a problem dad? Wait. Let me ask you a question,"
I put up a hand in the air, asking him to stop whatever he's going to say. I know exactly that i'll be furious if he says more.
"How did you know about this? Did you probably send somebody to spy me?" My tone was accusing. Well, i don't care. I don't like being supervised like this.
"Well, do you want me to? I can really do that if you keep on ignoring my command," he replies, and when i was about to talk back, mom stops me immediately.
"He just saw you going home by walking for few times, dear. Why would he send a spy? Please don't overthink." Mom speaks.
I am this close to lose my temper. But luckily, the fact that he didn't spy me makes me feel more relieved. But i'm still angry.
"Just fix your damn relationship with Taehyung and stop hanging out with whoever he is. He can't even drive you home, he doesn't deserve you."
I scoff in annoyance. "So you want me to be with Taehyung now? After all this time of rejecting him?"
"I just think he's better than whoever is with you right now."
"You don't get to choose who i like dad, you don't." I clench my jaw, and before mom can grip my hand, i get out of the dining room.
"We're attending a wedding party tonight, make sure you're dressed beautifully." My dad says, earning nothing from me.
Screw this rich family.
-oOo-
I'm literally screaming in my room now. Not as loud as i usually did in the rooftop but, yeah at least i do. When you're pissed, just scream. It relieves you sometimes.
Why does he always have to ruin my morning? Why?
I can't hang out with Jimin just because he doesn't have a car? Because he's not rich? Well i don't care even if he owns ten cars at once! He can't just control my circle of friends like that!
Just then, a knock on my door is heard. Mom peeks in, asking, "Do i come at the right time?"
I nod, laughing out of frustration. Mom always knows how to cheer me up.
I approach her, and when she puts the tray on the table, i immediately hug her.
"I swear i wanna get out of here." I speak, literally mean every word i just said.
