chapter 10: SECOND ATTACK

I am waiting for Rishi in this café since last half an hour. He asked me to not travel alone and suggested me to wait at some crowded place. I sent him my location and asked him to come as soon as possible. I drank 3 cups of coffee but didn't find any solution of my problems. I tried to convince myself with their theory but I can't trust them. I feel relaxed when I saw Rishi outside the café. He followed my voice when I called him. I ran and hugged him. He hugged me back and asked me about my day. I told him everything over a cup of coffee. I told him about the blood strain which can lead us towards the truth. He supported me and asked me to come with him to the hospital where his mother was admitted. He wanted to spend some time with his mother. I agreed on his proposal and we left in his car.

Our pleasant journey ended in room number 207, at Fortis hospital. I went to meet his mother when he was searching his doctor friend. I found a girl sitting next to his mother, when I entered in the room 207. She introduced herself as Anushka, Rishi's old friend and his new project head. She was friendly and nice to me. Our conversation ended when Rishi came back to me. He went out with Anushka for some project related discussion and told me to wait until doctor gets free. After few minutes, I heard someone on the door. I was shocked to see Vedika in the hospital. She asked me about Rishi and my relation with him. Her facial colour washed when I introduced Rishi as my boyfriend. She tried to pretend to be happy and handover me to another doctor for tests. She knew that I would not trust her because of what happens today in NGO. I waited for reports when the tests had been done. The reports proved me wrong and I have to believe on Vedika and Mr. Sahay.

I was searching Rishi in the parking area when someone attacked me with iron rod, from my back. My head was bleeding and I fell on the ground. When I turned up, I found the same masked man who attacked me in the cab. He was carrying an axe. He pulled my hair and dragged me on the ground. I was in unbearable pain. I cried aloud but got no help. He dragged me aside where no one can come as it was under construction. I was scared when he told me about the finger I found in NGO.

He said, "You want to know the truth. I will tell you because now you will not get chance to tell anyone else. I cut that lady into pieces whose finger you found, but unfortunately you were unable to prove it. I did justice with her mother-in-law. She tortured the old lady and broke her heart into pieces. She made her to live alone in the NGO. So, I cut her body into pieces. I did this for the welfare of society. I will kill those who broke heart and torture others. I have a moral cause and you are coming in my way. You want to reveal my secrets but I will not allow you to do this. I don't want to kill you but I have to for creating a society full of love and harmony. You deserve to die."

He attacked on me with his axe but stopped by a voice. It was from Anushka. She drove her car towards the masked man. I got a chance to run but my leg started bleeding, because of his attacked. He hurt my leg badly before he disappeared.

She helped me and I met Rishi in room 207, after doing first aid. Rishi was scared of my condition and promised me to never leave me alone. We left the hospital in a while and went home.
