Depression is like walking down a long, dark corridor just praying that the lights come on. It's reliving the darkest of dusks, just praying for a dawn. Depression is silence, yet it speaks so loud, it's feeling so lonely in the biggest of crowds. It's having no energy, feeling so fatigued, it's drowning in your own thoughts, not being able to breathe. It's crying out for help, but not being able to make a sound, it's hating yourself, constantly tearing yourself down. Depression is being so sad and so angry, never knowing the reason why. It's not wanting to live any longer, but too tired to die. Depression is like walking down a long, dark corridor just praying that the lights come on. It may ot seem like it, but one day those lights will turn on. And when it does, you'll look back and see all that you have conquered, with each and every step, you get stronger and stronger. And with each step, that's another one in the past, and remember that you got this, you were built to last.
