Ink sprinted across the Doodlesphere, present wrapped in blue wrapping paper in hand. Today was special. Or at least, it was special to the artist. It was his dearest beloved's special day! He'd heard from his brother, Geno, and was surprised that his Glitchy hadn't told him!
So, for his birthday, he was going to surprise him with a couple creations of his own! He knew the other liked knitting and he also seemed to adore the blue scarf he always has on, so what did he do? He made him a blanket and a new scarf!
Knowing him, he probably would say he hated it and toss it aside, but he also knee that once he was gone, he'd be curling up with them while watching UnderNovella.
He suddenly skidded to a stop, the spacey AU's page just above his head. "There you are!" He mused to himself before jumping up and entering OuterTale. His bare feet touched the cold, floating rock and he began to walk again. He knew Error would be around here somewhere, so he assumed maybe that, for his birthday, he would've moved to a much more starry area.
Soon, Ink found his (unofficial) boyfriend sitting on a higher cliff than usual. With a quick movement, he leaped up next to Error, giving the glitched skeleton a scare.
"Jeez, aren't you one for dramatic entrances?" Error huffed as he moved away, making sure the artist couldn't touch him without making it obvious.
"Oh please, it wasn't like I kicked a door down or something!" Ink countered, making Error grow visibly frustrated. "Same damn thing..." He muttered, pulling another string from his eye. He seemed to be making another doll, but who it was was hard to tell. Ink hummed slightly and leaned towards Error slightly.
"Happy birthday, by the way, Glitchy..!" Ink said in a surprisingly gentle voice, making Error's soul skip a beat. But once what the artist had said sunk in he was confused... Birthday? What the hell was that? "Birth... Day?" Error said slowly, looking at Ink with very obvious confusion. However, that just made Ink confused at well.
"Glitchy did you... Did you not know your own birthday?!" Ink moved close to Error, his eyelights showing an exclamation point and a circle. Error just shook his head slowly, still not sure what a 'birthday' even is. Ink gasped and suddenly grabbed Error's shoulders, making the glitch wince and attempt to wiggle out of his grasp. However, he definitely wasn't letting go that easily.
"How did you not know?! Even your own brother knows your birthday!! Look, I've already got you a present, so I'm going to throw you a party as well!"
"What?! Are you out of your mind, why would we need to throw a party?!"
"Because that's how birthday's work! You throw someone a party and invite people! Ooh, and cake and sweets, too!"
"Hello no, in your stupid ass dreams, Ink!!"
"But Error!~" The glitch groaned and shoved Ink's gloved phalanges off him, his shoulders now covered in glitches from the contact. "Look, I'll take your presents, I'll eat a cake, but I am absolutely not throwing a stars damned party! Understood?!"
Ink gasped and smiled brightly, his bones seeming to vibrate with excitement. "Really?! You'd eat a cake and take my presents?!" Error groaned again. "Yes. Don't make me regret it either, ink stain!" The artist squealed and jumped up, doing a quick little dance before crouched down next to Error. "I promise I won't! Just stay here, I'll get a cake, and I'll be right back!!" Before Error could say anything back, Ink swished his brush across the ground and jumped through, leaving the glitch alone.

An hour or so later, the sound of shuffling and grunting could be heard. Error lazily looked back, half asleep out of pure boredom. However, when he saw two large chocolate cakes, he instantly woke up.
