"It's a hospital, there's gonna be screaming every once in a while," Sarah said while they wait in line for food.
"Well yeah, but have you noticed it's always only at night?" Lewis asked.
"I agree with Lewis, it is weird that it only happens at night," Chris said as he walked with the other two to their table.
As Lewis opens his mouth to say something, he gets interrupted by the realization that Robert is missing. He scans the room looking for him but doesn't see a trace.
"Have you guys seen Robert?"
"No, why?" Chris said with a mouth full of oatmeal.
"Sarah think about it," Lewis said looking back at her, "Doctor Christin says that they punish trouble makers, then Robert and I get into that fight, and that night we hear screaming, and then now he's nowhere to be found."
"You're overthinking this, he probably just didn't want to get up," Sarah said as she finished her food getting up.
"I still think that something strange is happening, and I have a feeling that it might happen again."
But Sarah didn't seem to care as she walked away to take care of her tray. Chris followed as he took Lewis' tray while Lewis went to their corner and looked out the window.
What if this place isn't what my parents thought it was. What if-
"Help!" Lewis heard from the vent next to him. It was a faint cry, but he could still understand it. Noticing that something bad was happening, Lewis got up to go tell the others, but was stopped by Doctor Jenson.
"Excuse me, but we have a session scheduled for today Lewis, please come with me."
As Lewis sat in the chair across from her, he noticed that she never made eye contact while she spoke, actually she never made eye contact the entire time. As she asked question after question, Lewis couldn't help but notice how uneasy she looked.
"Is everything okay?" Lewis finally asked. "You don't seem like yourself."
"What, oh." Doctor Jenson said looking at Lewis then at the floor, "Works just been stressful is all."
"Is it because of yesterday?"
"I can't legally say, but I can say that it won't last much longer."
"Okay," Lewis said as he leaned back in his chair, "Not my business I guess."
"Well that's all the time we have." Doctor Jenson said standing up and opening the door for Lewis.
The rest of the day went by pretty slowly, but Lewis couldn't get that look that Doctor Jenson had on her face. The look of fear and regret, and the look of disgust in her eyes, Lewis decides not to think too much about it while he lays down, but doesn't sleep.
