"I've noticed that you have been very calm since the incident, but I have also noticed the way you have been drifting off during your lessons." doctor Christin said adjusting his glasses.
"I don't know what you mean." Lewis said not moving a muscle closer to the doctor. "You must be thinking of someone else."
"I don't believe that lying is going to help you," The doctor laughed standing up, "try if you must, but I know you better than you think."
"Sure, I doubt that, but sure." Lewis said, taking a step back.
"I know you struggle making friends, yet you've made two here." The doctor said staring at Lewis, "I know how you've hurt countless people over the years, and the police threatened to send you to prison, so your parents entrusted me to heal you," The doctor took one more step closer intensifying his stare, "by any means necessary."
"What are you trying to say, you gonna kill me if I don't listen?" Lewis said, taking a step toward him. He knew he wouldn't win in a fight, but he figured he could intimidate him. To Lewis' surprise, the doctor just stared at him, as if he was looking into his soul, but Lewis tried to keep a straight face.
"If that's what it takes, then so be it." Doctor Christin said finally looking away as he walked toward the door, "After all, all your parents want is an obedient son."
"Is that why there are screams coming from the vents, I know you're hiding something." Lewis said, but didn't get a reaction.
"Have a nice stay mister Lewis," doctor Christin said as he opened the door.
Lewis was left alone in his room, wondering what the doctor meant when he said any means necessary. Hours went by while he sat on his bed thinking to himself.
What is he hiding, why did he ignore me when I mentioned the vent. What if Chris or Sarah is taken away next, what if I'm next.
As he continued to think, he began to piece it all together, but he lost his train of thought when the door flew open. "Lewis, get up." Said one of the doctors, "Time for food."
"I'm not hungry, I'm just gonna stay in here for a bit." Lewis said. The doctor shrugged and closed the door locking it.
