This place feels like a prison. The closest thing I get to freedom is the window, but the vent always drives me away from it. Some things going on here, I just don't know what. I want to leave here as soon as possible. Doctor Christin is up to something, and I really don't want to stick around to find out.
"Hey Lewis, it's time to go," Sarah said as she handed in her journal to one of the doctors.
"Right, hold up." Lewis jumped up grabbing his journal and handed it to the doctor.
As Lewis, Sarah, and Chris made their way to the group therapy room, Lewis noticed the other patient was still missing. When they all walked in and sat down Doctor Jenson stood up out of her chair clearing her throat.
"Hello everyone, I know today may seem a little off, but Doctor Christin asked me to start us off early today." She looked around the room, no one seemed interested or even seemed to care. Ignoring the lifeless faces she sat back down, "So, who would like to start us off?"
"I would," Lewis raised his hand.
"Okay Lewis," Doctor Jenson smiled brightly, "What would you like to tell everyone?"
"Actually it's more of a question for you, about something I've been hearing."
"Well then, ask away." Her expression slowly faded. The look of curiosity developing in her eyes.
"Everytime I'm near one of the air vents, I hear screaming." Lewis said, looking at her, not letting his gaze drift.
"Well sometimes children your age can develop schizophrenia from many causes."
"Then why is it only near the vents," Lewis leaned forward still looking her in the eyes, "and it sounds distant," he began to hear Robert start whispering to himself, but he tried to ignore it, "as if it's from a basement-"
"No!" Robert screamed, grabbing his head and pulling at his hair. Lewis could see him begin to cry, "Stop! Stop it!" he began to slam his head against the wall, blood slowly oozing down the back of his head, "I don't want to go back, please don't do it again!"
At the sound of the sudden screaming, two doctors came storming in followed by Doctor Christin, the two doctors grabbed Robert and dragged him out, while Doctor Christin grabbed Lewis by his shirt and stormed out with him taking Lewis to his room.
"I warned you," Doctor Christin growled tossing Lewis on his bed, "I said if you try anything again that you will be punished, you're gonna spend the rest of the day here while I decide on what to do with you." Doctor Christin slammed the door shut and locked it leaving Lewis all alone.
"What the hell did I do?"
