I'm reading the Bane Chronicles which are a collection of short stories about Magnus Bane. In one of them (The Midnight Heir) there's James Herondale and he's a jerk and there's Will but he's old. He's 43 and it's really weird. Think of Will at his worst when he's really mean and rude. That's just for short periods of time but James is like that all the time and it's awful.
