"Can we go out to the clearing?" Ashkit begged. "We're nearly a moon old!"

"We're nearly a moon old and we haven't even seen the clearing or any other cats!" Moonpaw protested.

"I think you kits are old enough to go out." Ravenheart meowed softly. Her kits rushed outside to finally see the full sun.

"Look! The kits finally came out!" An apprentice cat meowed loudly, warm eyes of the clan come onto Moonpaw and her littermates. The kits stood still while their mother came out. They were stood still, they were scared of many staring eyes. The awkward staring of the clan and the kits continued, while most cats stopped after a moment or two, and got back to their duties, while some eyes glared at Moonpaw and Ashpaw, What do you want? Don't glare at me! Moonpaw thought. Ravenheart stepped in front of the kits protectively, and the stares faded away.

A black tabby leapt off the tall rock. That's Swiftstar. "Welcome to Sunclan, kits!" Swiftstar meowed softly while touching noses with the new kits of Sunclan. "Make sure they are safe." Swiftstar murmured to Ravenheart and she dipped her head and Swiftstar headed to the fresh-kill pile. Moonkit could not wait till she could eat her own fresh-kill, the taste of flesh in her mouth.

Moonkit looking around the clearing, she caught sight of the tall rock Swiftstart leap off of. That should be the Sun Rock. She had heard stories on how the camp was destroyed, but not the Sun Rock, and how the sun always shone on the rock. It was true, the sun was shining hard on the rock.

"Come on Moonkit! Let's Play!" Blackkit hollered and Moonkit snapped out of her thoughts.

"Where's Ashkit?" Moonkit asked her mother before turning to Blackkit.

"Ashkit's in the medicine den, why don't you go and get her?" Ravenheart suggested.

"Blackkit, want to come with me?" Moonkit asked.

"No. Just go tell her." Lazy Furball! Moonkit though while padding to the med den. She could smell the herbs getting stronger and stronger as she got closer to the den, the smell makes her very uncomfortable.

"Want to play with us?" Moonkit squeaked.

"I'm good! Amberleaf, what's this?" Ashkit meowed to Amberleaf. Amberleaf, she's the med cat. She padded away from the med den, until the meows turned into whispers.

"It's a no." She reported to Blackkit, curled in the sun, and he jumped to his paws. Her mother muttered something she could not make out and purred. Blackkit started to growl.

"You are no battle for me!" Blackkit hissed at Moonpaw. Moonpaw knew they started to play, and continued the conversation.

"We will see about that, Blackstar!" Moonkit hissed back. Blackkit was too fast though, and already lept before her very eyes. She saw it coming and had time just to slide to the side, while Blackkit landed flat on the ground.

"Not bad, both of you, but still got some work to do on that leap!" An apprentice meowed to the new kits. Moonkit had a smug expression on her face, while Blackkit lashed his tail angrily; and leap in front of the apprentice, in a fighting crouch.

"What are you?" Blackkit hissed, while his tail lashing.

"How cute! I'm Brightpaw, nice to meet you! Now, do you want me to teach you some battle moves?" Brightpaw asked. Blackkit stopped lashing his black tail and got excited. Moonpaw walked towards the black and white cats and joined in. The kits were on four paws, ready to go. "I'll take that as a yes!"

Brightpaw talked through the steps to leap, how you have to make sure what and where you are leaping at, and talking about how it was better to take it harder than soft. She explained the whole thing clearly and carefully, with every single detail included into it, while also asking the kits to perform the leap and help them get into a good crouch beforehand.

"Moonkit, your leap is strong but you'll need a bit more aim towards the target. Try it again." Brightpaw is so kind! Moonkit thought and tried the leap again, this time adjusting her weight mid-air and landing straight on the moss, then tearing the moss into pieces.

"How was that?" Moonkit squeaked excitedly. Brightpaw purred in satisfaction. Moonkit thought her efforts finally worked.

"That was amazing, very good Moonkit, you aced the leap, and tearing the moss." Brightpaw meowed, her eyes were full of amusement.

"Yay!" Moonkit squeaked once more and pounced on Blackkit. Blackkit was not prepared and fell for the trap.

"Hey!" Blackkit meowed playfully while trying to paw Moonkit off, there mother and Brightpaw exchanged glances and both let out a mrrow of laughter.

"Brightpaw, time to get training! I see you have been teaching these kits." A she-cat meowed to Brightpaw. The kits got up from there playfight, and looked at Brightpaw with this she-cat. She took a final glance at the kits and replied.

"Okay, Lilyflower!" She replied, sounding happy while she said her goodbyes. "It's a pleasure to play with your kits." Brightpaw meowed to Ravenheart.

"Your training should not be interfered by kits," Ravenheart told her and she padded away. The kits squeaked a goodbye and went forward to their mother. Ashkit was also finished in the medicine den and reached their mother.

"You smell like herbs!" Blackkit complained.

"You'll be thankful when you get hurt to have herbs!" Ashkit defended her scent.

"You'll make a brilliant medicine cat." Their mother smoothed Ashkit while Blackkit lashed his tail again angrily. Such an angry cat! "It's time for a nap kits!" The kits moaned and followed their mother into the shaded nursery and settled into the feather laid nest. Moonkit curled up and fell asleep quickly under her mother's warm pelt.

She felt her wake up. What a short nap! She found her paws carrying herself across the clearing. I'm not allowed here! But she kept moving, the sun shone brightly across the camp. After looking at her surroundings she only just did realise that there were no cats. They're probably out in the forest. A shimmering sound behind her started her and she jumped around, to look at the faint and misty cat. The cat had no scent and had stars on her pelt, while she was sparkling in the sunlight.

"You are dreaming, Moonkit, you are in Starclan."

Hey guys, a bit of a cliffhanger here. You guys prob don't like these, but I sure do! Anyways, how are you guys enjoying the long chapters? Also, you prob know where this is heading, (by the blurb) and also this is a pretty warrior-kind and if you read warriors every series is because of the same thing. Have a good day and enjoy self-isolating -.- ;) !  (+ to clarify, Italics are Moonkit's thinking.)
