The road was deserted. I could hear his footsteps on he pavement as he followed after me. "Wait, please," He called.

"I don't want to hear it, Daniel."

"But you need to know the whole truth."

"I said I don't want to hear it!" I yelled. "Leave me alone!"

"You need to know!" He persisted.

"Just shut up!" I whirled and stopped him in his tracks. "You're no better than him." I pointed to Leon who was now leaning against the car watching us with amusement written all over his face. It made me even angrier.

"You don't know that."

I looked at him in astonishment. "Yes I do! You just admitted that you've killed me before; maybe even multiple times!"

He didn't respond to that.

"That's what I thought," I sneered. How could you pretend to care for me and play wig my emotions, Daniel? I thought you were the only one that actually cared."

Daniel stared at me with hurt eyes, saying nothing.

"You're worst than he ever was," I snarled.

"Hey!"

I jumped, startled, at the new sound of Leon's voice from behind me, and spun around to find him towering over me. "You don't know the whole story," He growled, looming above me.

"Do I really want to hear it?" I shot back. "Seems that anything you tell me makes me hate you more."

Leon's eyes narrowed. "Why don't you try shutting up for a moment, princess."

I clenched my teeth and forced myself to stay quiet.

Leon smiled but it didn't reach his eyes. "Thankyou," He said politely. Then he looked over my head at Daniel and nodded once.
