Giyuu tugged the jacket close to his frame, lightly pressing his wound on his flank as he waltzed close to Sabito for warmth, still oblivious to the big, bold letters of the peach-haired male's last name between his shoulder blades.
"Are you feeling okay?" Sabito asked the smaller male, who tilted his head up to meet lavender eyes. Giyuu's lips curled up into a smile at his concern and nodded meekly, the chilly breeze brushing against their hair and sending it into a slow dance with the wind.
"A little painful to stretch, but I'll be fine." Giyuu responded, subtly shuffling close to the other male until their shoulders are touching. His haori, neatly folded and hung over his left arm, drew near his stomach, trying to ignore the loving stares from Sabito.
'So goddamn cute when he's flustered.' Sabito thought before turning his head forward, pondering on whether or not he should sling his arm over his shoulders.
Giyuu had a flash back on the time when their faces were so close to one another, his heart drummed against his rib cage to the point his whole face went scarlet at the memory embarked into his mind.
Sabito noticed his flushed face and halted his footsteps by grabbing his shoulder and making him face him.
"Are you okay?" The peach-haired male asked as he placed his palm on the other's forehead to check his temperature but there's no change in it. "Why are you so red?"
The raven-haired male is begging the ground to swallow him up to dig away his sheepish-ness, shy at having Sabito see him in this state, which is unusual to him considering the fact he has the most emotionless face the school had seen.
"I just... remembered something." Giyuu responded, muttering under his breath and wanting to get away from this situation, head hung low and his eyes glued to the patterned street.
"Then, what is it?" The peach-haired male pushed further, unintentionally causing the other's stomach to somersault wildly in discomfit and his heart plummeting to the ground.
"A- Ah... uhm..." The dark-haired male sweat dropped, his palms secreting sweat despite the chilly breeze the wind provided. "The time when you patched up the cut on my cheek."
Giyuu's fingers brushed against the gauzed-up wound for reference, causing Sabito's body to jolt upward.
"Ah..." Sabito chuckled in shame, scratching his head and showing a self-conscious smile. "I was too focused on covering your wounds that I didn't notice."
They stood before one another in silence, barely taking into consideration the confused stares of a few locals and passersby with them.
Hell, even Genya and Sanemi who are simply walking by is aware of the looks from across the road.
"I'm sorry." Sabito apologised on behalf of his own actions during that time. Giyuu squeaked and waved the apology off, shaking his head with wide eyes.
"No, it's okay!" He unconsciously seized his hand to make the other stop repeating the two words. "You don't have to apologise."
Giyuu reluctantly let go of Sabito's hand, despite their own protests and their hearts screaming at them.
Sabito missed the warmth of the other male's hand as they continued down the street to go home for the day.
