"So, when are you going to confess to Giyuu-senpai?"

Sabito had to spit out all of his coffee in his mouth to Tanjiro's face sitting across from him one unfateful Sunday morning in Sunshade Café, eyes wide and eyebrows furrowed at the question as he wiped the caffeine drink from his lips using the cuff of his sweater.

"Why would you ask so?" The peach-haired male retorted with a crack in his voice mid-way into the inquiry, confusion and disbelief painted onto his facial features.

He ignored the whine from the other male, protesting about the coffee all over his face as he wiped the drink from his eyes with his fingers.

"Well, I noticed Sabito-senpai and Giyuu-senpai hanging out a lot." Makomo responded, an endearing smile ghosting her lips when she tilted her head from staring at her matcha as Tanjiro whispered a thank you to Akuma when he was handed a wad of tissues.

"We're best friends, nothing more, nothing less." Sabito emphasised, drinking his coffee to hide his face away from 2 pairs of un-deceived eyes glaring right into his soul.

"Though, isn't it... suspicious when you're all shy and blushy around Giyuu-senpai?" Tanjiro piped in, an eyebrow raised, tension rising every second of the heavy conversation weighing their shoulders as he dabbed his face with tissue. "Perking up whenever someone mentions his name?"

The eldest of the trio gulped nervously at getting caught red-handed, like a deer in headlights at their intuition hitting right into his heart.

He's cornered, and there's no backing out now on the topic of confession and finally answered truthfully with a forceful push from their eyes piercing through his soul.

"Fine. Yes, I love him," Sabito caved in, sighing as his back hunched over, leaning against the seat in which he is situated in. "To the point I will literally take a grenade for him."

"Nice of you to finally open up about your feelings, Sabito-senpai." Tanjiro and Makomo smiled at him, one filled with warm kindness from their hearts.

'They're so calm.' The eldest observed, eyes narrowed down in confusion as he pondered in his head in concern for them. 'They're usually rowdy, it's eerily scary.

'Did they... plan this?'

"On the topic of confession, I shall repeat my question." Makomo pulled him out of his misery of overthinking and hesitation, eyes casted straight in one direction past Tanjiro. "When are you going to confess to Giyuu-senpai?"

"About that..." Sabito scratched the back of his neck, lips pursed and head cocked to the side as he drowned himself in his thoughts once again. "I don't know though, I was hesitant due to the fact that I'm scared he will reject me."

"Giyuu-senpai would never have the audacity to do that." Tanjiro threw the information in, shocking the older male at the seriousness laced in his voice. "He li- loves you above all else in this world."

"I..." The peach-haired male's vocabulary is completely destroyed at the maroon-haired male's enlightenment about said raven-haired's feelings towards him.

"So, have you thought about confessing now?" Both kouhais are now in their usual cheery self, confusing their senpai even more at the unexpected transition.

"Well," Sabito hummed, lips pursed in thought. He knew Tanjiro would always tell the truth since he sucks at lying and Makomo has the skills to set up a plan for the confession. "I- sure, by this Friday, I guess."

"Leave it to us!" Makomo chirped happily, a bright smile casted upon her face. "We'll help you with it!"

"Thank you." He chuckled, patting their heads before standing up from his seat, taking his leave to escape the duo. "I'll see you guys at school tomorrow!"

"Say, Makomo-chan, let's try that one flower shop near this cafe for the perfect flower."

"You mean Kocho's Flower Shop? Of course! I heard there are tons of rare flowers being sold there."

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's plan it now!"
