"Giyuu-senpai!" Tanjiro beamed as soon as his maroon eyes fell upon a familiar mop of dark blue hair tied into a low ponytail sticking out of the crowd like a sore thumb, considering the amount of different coloured hairs among the students.
The said male halted his footsteps and whirled on his heel, aqua eyes casted upon his kouhai's running figure from afar until he went closer and stood beside him.
"What is it?" Giyuu questioned him, patiently waiting for the maroon-haired male to catch his breath before answering, eyes full of pure innocence and voice singing along to a song.
"Can you help me train after school?" Tanjiro asked, eyes glazed over with hope shining that Giyuu doesn't have the heart to say no to, inevitably being captured in its cage he couldn't get out of.
Sabito's eyes spotted the two from the corner of his vision as he picked up his cold brew coffee from the vending machine, popping it open and deciding to shuffle closer to hear their conversation.
"Sure, I'll help." Giyuu answered, a small smile graced elegantly on his lips when Tanjiro's eyes widened in relief and shock, his pupils dilating wildly.
"Really!?" He beamed, wanting to hear his answer again in which the other male could only nod with a soft chuckle. "Thank you so much, Giyuu-senpai!"
Sabito felt a pang of pain in his heart when his field of vision could vividly see Giyuu's hand rising up to pat his kouhai's head. His smile, no more than reserved for the friends he love dearly, is displayed along with his eyes slightly narrowed down, showing endearment and happiness.
All this, where the peach-haired male could barely reach - an arm's length away from him, made his blood boil with jealousy and hatred at the fact that Kamado Tanjiro could retrieve it out of him ever-so easily like it was nothing.
'I shouldn't be jealous over him.' He shook his head, trying to get rid of the image completely burnt in his mind. 'I shouldn't, he's not even mine. Yet, why am I feeling this way?'
He suppressed his jealousy inside, deciding it wouldn't be worth of confrontation if he gets that possessive over the raven-haired male.
"Sabito!" Sanemi suddenly threw an arm over his shoulder, guiding him towards their class when he noticed the male standing awkwardly, staring at nothing in particular.
The peach-haired male didn't take too much notice of him, letting the white-haired male lead his autopilot body on, so immersed in his thoughts full of envy towards Tanjiro he didn't even notice fingers snapping in front of him.
"Hey!" Sabito finally got away from his thoughts, his body jolting up in shock and confusion when they arrived at their class. "Man, you okay? You seem kinda lost."
"I..." He trailed off, meeting eyes with his friend who seemed concerned - worried to the bone, even, for him. "I'm fine."
"You sure?" Sanemi asked once more for good measure, patting his shoulder as Sabito nodded, giving him a thumbs up before trailing over to his desk, cradling his head in his hands.
He finally got to the conclusion that he should confront Giyuu about the conversation he had with Tanjiro, in fear he might lose him to his kouhai.

"Did it work, Tanjiro-kun?"
"Yeah! I could practically smell his jealousy from a few corridors down, Makomo-chan."
"Sweet! Then we'll wait for them to make up and step 4 will start!"
"About that, how can we convince Giyuu-san to come with us to the shop?"
"Puppy eyes with whines always work on everyone. Besides, it's only a single photoshoot and we're good to go."
