How He Celebrates Your Birthday

Thomas- Thomas packs the car the night before and spends the whole day driving you around to the different spots you have been in your relationship, each with a small post-it with a clue on it. The coffee shop where he asked you on a date for the first time, the balcony where you first kissed, and the park where your families first met. The two of you have a picnic on the grass and watch the ducks in a nearby lake before Thomas gives you the final clue. Putting the post-its together, you have a message that reads Y/N, I can remember every single second since I met you, but have you remembered every second of this day? I have laid subtle clues along the way, and I hope you don't take it the wrong way! Tonight you will dine with the sun, stars, and moon, yet their beauty could not compare to you. Be ready at 8, and don't be late, because the bubbles will not wait for you. Suspiciously, you go to your room around 6:45 and put on a simple sundress and fix your hair. Walking out, you see Thomas outside with a table filled with candles and champagne. He sits you down and the two of your share pieces of cheesecake before lying on a blanket and gazing at the stars. 

Newt- During the day you badger Newt about his plans for your birthday. He hints at what you will be doing, but is shy and does not give away the secret. Just as the nightlife in the city starts to light up, he takes you to see a musical you have been wanting to see for ages. During the performance, Newt keeps his hand on your thigh, rubbing small circles with his thumb and silently chuckling every time you blushed. Every once in a while he grabs your hand and squeezes it, usually followed by a peck on your cheek or lips during the intermission. Later, he takes you to a restaurant where he has made reservations. While there you mock snobby customers and enjoy your meal before going home. Once there, the both of you put on your comfiest pajamas and watch chick flicks drinking sparkling apple cider and Newt cuddles with you tightly until he falls asleep with his head in your lap. 

Minho- He wakes you up early in the morning and drives to an amusement park along a lake. During the drive he plays your favorite songs and you have competitions to see who can sing them louder and worse than the other person. During the day, you ride the highest rides and eat junk food, and the two of you grab a late lunch at a cafe overlooking the water. Just as the boardwalk lights come on, Minho grabs your hand and you stroll along the boardwalk, quietly talking. When you make it back to the parking lot, he picks you up bridal style and carries you to the car. The sun has set by the time Minho takes you home and you watch your favorite comedy movies, laughing your butts off until the exhaustion of the day captures the both of you.

Gally-  You wake up to the smell of bacon and blueberry pancakes right in front of your nose. On the table next to you is a heaping plate of pancakes with extra bacon and a large glass of chocolate milk. Gally is not in your room, but you finish your breakfast before going downstairs to find him waiting by the door dressed in jeans and a plaid button-up shirt. He tells you to dress similarly, and drives you through the country to a small farm. You marvel at the sun over the fields and the tiny puppies running around, but after a few minutes you realize Gally is missing. Moments later, he rides around the corner on a chestnut brown horse and grabs your hand, pulling you up behind him. During the ride around the beautiful lands, you hold tight to his waist and he tenses and blushes every time you move your hands. Eventually, you get to a small lake in the woods, and Gally teases you until you jump in the water in only your underwear. As the sun sets, he takes you back to the farm and drives you home again. Gally has made your favorite comfort foods in advance, and you enjoy them with him before crawling into bed, exhausted. He plays with your hair and whispers in your ear until you drift to sleep.
