Chapter 5~Our Family and Books

Rosaline's PoV

A few months had passed on, so we now were going to find out the gender of our expected children. Then we could give them names.

Wales came back into the room, placed this cold gel on my stomach and lead around a machine on top of it all. This world was still so strange, and I must've been too on edge to realize the same machine before.

"We're having?"

"A..boy and a girl..both appear to be doing just fine." I looked at the screen, showing the two unborn children, then at Felix.

"Congratulations."

"Now for their names.."

Felix's PoV

Months before

I wanted this reveal to be somewhat of a riddle. My parents are going to be grandparents...

I'd created a scavenger hunt of sorts, except they would only go to one location. The first hint: You come here to learn, to escape, to travel, to meet others. There your next hint lies. Before you enter, dial me, and all will be revealed.

It was the library, I'd thought it'd be more meaningful to have it where there was a connection between Rosaline and I. When they call me I'd have Belle have them search for a certain book, and there Rose and I would be standing, in the aisle holding the book. With our secret within.

-"Felix? We're at the library. Why can't you tell us what's going on?"

"Just go to who you would for help in the library. She'll help you." They hung up. From where we were standing I could hear the conversation.

"This will be in the non-fiction section, towards that end."

My parents took their time, though they did find us eventually.

"What's this all about?" I held out the book.

"Rose is pregnant, with twins, you're going to be grandparents." The expressions were priceless. If we'd recorded this..

Present Day

Belle's PoV

"Sure I'll meet you for lunch Rumple. Now we've both got to go back to work, Chip is antsy about waiting for his big sister, so I've that to deal with." The two year old was now more boisterous than ever.

"Momma! When's sissy getting here?"

She'd had another appointment, there was no telling when she'd return. I'd have to deal with my son for the moment.

"Why don't you go pick out a story for her to read with you? Maybe the twins will want to listen also?" Once I'd told him they could hear sounds he became so concerned for their opinions, although they couldn't voice them.

"What do the twins like?" His vocabulary was very advanced for his age. Guess that's what happens when you read stories to them, and have them talk instead of emote by yelling senseless things.

"I'm sure whatever you pick they'll enjoy." He'd been dedicated to pleasing his future nephews or nieces.

Rosaline walked in as Chip was seeking approval for his story.

"Sissy!"

"Ha, hey Chippy." Somehow she picked him up and held him. "Soon enough one of us will be too big for me to hold you."

"I'm gonna be a big boy!" He was excited.

"I have to put you down! Ah you're too biiggg!" All of us snickered.
