Chapter 18~Communications

Chip's PoV

"Rosy why are you crying? Brother?"

"Possibly great news Chippy. Linnea may be able to hear."

"So she can hear the stories now? I know the hand storytelling was hard."

"I do believe she can."

We can't get our hopes up. The situation couldn't be so sudden. Could it? When I now spoke to Linnea she didn't look up..

"Linnea? Hey baby girl look up here.."

She didn't show any sort of repsonse.

"Felix? Do you think she's just cried to cry? She won't look up at me."

Linnea's hands moved, like she was saying something. I placed her down and she seemed confident in what she was doing, even at so young an age.

Linnea's PoV

Come on Mama..I'm talking with my hands for you..

"I love you." What's so hard for you? Adam can hear me, I can hear him, why can't you?

Rosaline's PoV

Adam giggled. Linnea looked towards the noise. Then moved her hands again.

"Rose. Look, when Adam did something she could..she could hear him. But not us."

Could it be that she could only hear her brother? I tried to move my hands like hers, she smiled, nodded her head, then crawled to my lap. She grabbed my hands and pointed to Adam's crib.

"Grab Adam. I think she wants him."

Once he was on the rug his hands began to move similarly to Linnea's and they giggled. Did this have anything to do with them being twins? Were they in some strange bond?

Adam's PoV

"Silly."

"Why can't they hear me?"

"They weird. You teach them this." I said moving my hands. Sis could hear me. So I mocked Mom and Dad. She knew more than I did somehow. We both learned.

"I try to teach them. They don't understand me. But they do you."

"Dad tries. Momma just needs..."

"Help. She's confused with all the movements. She barely knows this place."

"How do you know this stuff?"

"I have a feeling. I can't explain."

Rumple's PoV

"Alright. Where's my mischievous son now?"

"Hello Father. And he was just helping out Felix in the office, there were papers to shred, and a sugared little boy rearing to have at it."

"Sounds as if he's had quite the fun time."

"Papa! Papa guess what?! I can rip five pieces of paper at once!"

"Sounds like someone is a strong boy huh?"

"Yeah!! I even got to do a collage!"

"You'll have to tell Mom all about now won't you?"

Rosaline hugged me and I said hello to the twins, they seemed to be bigger every time I saw them. Soon enough they would be chasing Chip around with the other kids in the family.

"I think I should take this one," I said hurling Chip into my arms. "Home to his Momma."

"Bye Sissy! I'll see you soon! Promise?!"

"I promise Chippy." She said with her mother's laugh. My daughter.
