Chapter 23~The Nightmare Truly Begins

Felix's PoV

I walked back to my children and was completely heartbroken. My wife wasn't her true self, and the children had no idea what'd happened with their mother and sister.

"Brother? What's Rosy doing?" He ran towards his sister's body. What she did next I never would've thought I would ever see her do.

Marie's PoV

"What do you want you little pest?"

"Sissy. Why are you kissing him?"

"I love him. And I'm not your sister brat."

"But Rosy-"

It was obvious this little pest wasn't going anywhere with verbal commands. Perhaps a more physical approach will help him understand the message. My hand went across his face and he fell with some force to the ground. That felt amazing, such a great feeling of release.

"If you would've listened to my earlier words you wouldn't be on the ground right now. Hopefully you've learned from this."

Chip's PoV

Why did Rosy hurt me? Why wasn't she coming back to Linnea and Adam?

My face hurt and I felt swelling.

"Chip!! Hey little brother, are you okay my big boy?"

"Why'd Rosy do that?" Brother was crying.

"She's not herself Chip. I can't explain it exactly."

"But Adam and Linnea don't know that."

I carried him away from her and him. Belle soothed her son while I had to seek to control Rumple's anger.

"Remember she's still Rose's body. You don't want to harm her."

Marie's PoV

"Let's go. This family is boring beyond recall. The farther away from lover boy we are the more I can enjoy your presence.."

"As you wish m'lady."

Walsh carried me to his car and set me in. His hand lingering on my thigh.

"You know, there's not a lot in this town that I desire to really see. I desire you."

Walsh's PoV

Seduce her. Let her love the man she thinks she loves, while her true love waits for her. Watch him crumble as she disappears from his life.

Perhaps she could bear a child with me. Oh the capabilities of that child..more than a mundane boy's child. They would surely possess magic and the child would be mine.

"What kind of a man would I be if I didn't allow your one desire to come true? Let's go somewhere a bit more secluded. Somewhere you can be quite sure of your love.."

Belle's PoV

I'd told Felix to have the twins stay with us, when we'd offered to have him stay as well he declined, saying it was best that he try to figure things out and knowing the children were safe would ease his actions.

Attempts to calm him were futile, I knew he'd lost his wife, Rumple and I lost our daughter, our family once more lost our Rose.

"Momma, Linnea wants to know when Rosy will be back. They-we miss her."

Rumple's PoV

It was my fault. If I hadn't suggested the outing none of this would've happened. My daughter would be with us and not her cursed mind. She never would've laid a hand on her brother, then she knocks him to the ground. Abandoning her children in a second for a man none of us truly knew. This was my fault. I must separate myself from this dagger, this dagger has caused so much trouble for this family, perhaps the Light Magic Rose taught me would release me from its terror. Then no one could stop me from saving her. No manipulation of my actions.

"Rumple..please don't take this personally. It's not your fault."

"If I hadn't suggested going to the lake."

"And let the nightmares continue? Your son came to me earlier asking why you'd been screaming, and I didn't dare tell him, I was scared Rumple."

Linnea's PoV

"Where's Momma gone now?"

"I don't know but Chip's hurt sis. And Momma did it to him."

"I thought she loved Uncle Chip."

"So did I."

Marie's PoV

We'd had a long sensual night and when I awoke Walsh had begun to make our lives perfection. When he'd seen that I was awake he clambered into the bed and propped himself onto one arm.

"What would you do if we were to..have a child of our own? One who would possess magic like you and I. They would be strong and powerful, a combination of our powers."

"I'd say that for you I would bear a child. I value you more than I could possibly say."

"Not a hint of affection for the two children you've bore to him?"

"Not an inkling. That couldn't have been my pure mind allowing that to occur."

Walsh's PoV

This could not be going any better. She hasn't a hint of affection for her family. But they..oh they have all the more love for her. There's not a potion to bring her back, and as true love's kiss goes both must love the other, Felix doesn't have a chance, especially if she was with my child.

"Why don't you skip work today? I'm sure that wench down there could use some serious work. And you have had such a terrible experience at the hands of them."

"I know one way to fill a day." She said pulling me to her, I obeyed this 'command' and as we'd done the previous evening we passed on an entire day.

¤¤¤¤ A Month Later

Belle's PoV

The library seemed so empty without it's two caretakers. Chip sat there and colored with his niece and nephew. As I walked over there was a painful sight, Chip, Linnea and Adam had created a picture of all of us and had a gray rose drawn in the center. It read We've lost our Rose.

"Momma, when's Rosy coming back?"

"I don't know darling." Tears began to fall. "I wish I did."

Marie's PoV

"Walsh..I have news for you.."

"Yes Marie?"

"Remember what you'd told me a month ago, about a child we could bear?"

"Of course."

"I now bear that child.."

Walsh's PoV

This will break them. Oh sweet revenge, and what that child could do to them..merciless, powerful, one drive to end the Gold's and the Croft's. Beautiful.

As I placed my hand on her stomach the true nightmare of the Gold's was to begin..all in their own child..all in the child she would bear to me.
