Chapter 12~What's Gotten Into You?

Rumple's PoV

Belle stirred in her sleep. What was going on in her dreams? She nearly screamed.

"Belle..wake...wake up..it's nothing but a dream.." In her eyes was fear then relief.

"You're..You're still here?"

"Why would I ever leave?"

"But you-you'd left me, then.."

"You think I would ever leave you? If anything you would be leaving me. You're a beautiful woman who loves an ugly man." Her head nuzzled into my chest, breathing returning to the sleepy rhythm it had once been. "I'll never leave you..I love you Belle Gold.." My head leaning on hers we both fell asleep.

Felix's PoV

It'd been nearly a month having to listen to Walsh's remarks. No wonder Pan wanted you gone..

"You know, if you'd just let Gaston have her.."

"Walsh, if you say one more word.."

"What'll the new daddy do? Cut off my ears? So that I won't hear just like your useless daughter.."

That was it. I reached into his cell, holding him by the shoulder of his clothing.

"My daughter is not useless!!"

"Go ahead, kill me. What will she say? Wishing that she'd never married a Lost Boy, one whose heart for years was all in his torturous ways. That she's married a barbaric being, one who doesn't deserve the title of human."

Looking him dead in the eyes..I felt strange..What was I doing? About to harm someone almost like a brother to me?

I let Walsh go.

"I'm sorry about that. Don't know what came over me."

Walsh's PoV

This had gone better than expected.

"I think you're much too stressed. Take off. You only have thirty minutes anyways."

"I think you're right. And sorry again about that, some days you know?"

The little brat left. Finally. I'd grown tired of toying with his brain. He'd finally become the self he most despised..

Rosaline's PoV

I was off work for the time being, Mother understood and had been the one to make me stay, though I really would desire to stay working. Hearing actual words every once and a while was nice, crying not so much.

The twins were laying down while I cooked dinner when I saw Felix walk up. Strange I thought he'd driven..When he walked into the kitchen I had more than a welcome home..

"Felix! Oh it's wonderful you're home but you aren't off for a few aren't you?" I went to kiss him. He resisted.

"Whoa! Hey, last time I checked the help doesn't kiss her employer."

Help? Employer?

"I don't know what you're saying. I'm your wife."

"Why in hell would I marry you?"

"You..you love me.."

"Some curse that must've been!"

"You're not acting yourself..perhaps you should lay-"

"Down? What so you can try to have your way about me? My house? Like I would ever be so idiotic."

Adam cried. As I went to go check I was halted by Felix in the doorway to the nursery.

"What in the bloody hell was that?"

"Your..our children.."

"Me? Me reproduce with my servant!? You're a gold-digger aren't you? Trying to get extra pay to "support" "our" children. How do I know you weren't sleeping around with any of the blokes around here? 'Specially that young boy, who seems to always 've around here."

"He's my nephew.."

"Nasty little girl aren't you?" Another cry. "I'll give it a reason to cry..."

"FELIX! NO!" I was met with a fist, the world spun, everything becoming blurry.

"Attack me again and I'll make damn sure you and these are thrown out."

He walked away, "Oh, the meal better be good after all you've caused this evening."

"Felix I don't understand. Why are you behaving like this?"

"That's no way to address your superior."

"I'm your wife!"

"Why would I ever want you?" Tears began to form.

"You'd said that we'd be together..you would always love me.."

"I wouldn't love you if I was cursed."

That's it. True love's kiss can break any curse.

"I'll prove it to you. Let me kiss you. Whatever spell you're under will be broken by true love's kiss."

"If it'll shut you up.." I leaned to kiss him..pulling away..

"See? Not a damn thing happened. Guess we aren't so true now are we?"

"I don't understand.." I touched my lips.

"It's simple! I. Don't. Love. You. If I was under any curse true love would've broken it." He doesn't love me. That's why this isn't working. "Go clean up your face, if I have to see you I don't want to see bruises."

"Perhaps I should leave you.." My heart snapped. My marriage nightmare was coming to life..

"....You'd said you'd never leave me."

"How big of a sap do you think me to be? First you try to kiss me, say we've had children together, you attack me, kiss me, and then say I'd never leave you!? Maybe an asylum is what you need. Crazy as you are."

"I'm not crazy!" Tears now ran across my face. "FELIX CROFT I LOVE YOU! WHEREVER IT IS INSIDE YOU I KNOW YOU LOVE ME TOO!"

"I said SILENCE!" I met the floor, harshly. Then the world became dark..

Felix's PoV

That should serve a wench well. Especially the crazy thing she is..

Perhaps she'll obey me now..

Just curious. If you've noticed foreshadowing through characters (sometimes for others) there is purpose. Also if there's a repetition in an action (usually for the feels) most if not all are purposely written.
