"As I said, she will either get her senses back or may...die." A doctor in a white coat told Siddhant.
"Her brain has been injured very egregiously but she's been saved,mm.. as you said she refused to even recognise you and all others...
Her case is different Mr. Siddhant."
"How?" Kushal, Avyakta's brother asked. Siddhant's eyes, too, were questioning.
"Mrs. Avyakta is suffering from Selective amnesia.
A type of amnesia in which the sufferer loses certain parts of their memory. "
He took some pause and adjusted his spectacles.
"And that's why,she wasn't able to recognise you..Mr. Siddhant.
We just examined and found that she has forgotten those 2 years memory of her life.
I'm sorry Mr.Siddhant, we tried our level best but...getting back her life is more than sufficient."
These one-by-one shocks for Sid were unbearable. He never imagined that he would see something like this in his life. Never. And that, too with Avyakta.
His eyes, which were filled with pain, guilt. He didn't want to face anyone in this world now. He didn't want anyone around but Avyakta. Holding her in his arms and swaying around.
"Mr.Siddhant I only want to say is it's God's will only. I know it's toughest of the tough to live like before with her and it's all upto you now. I can just only heal. Next is what the God wants.
She'll be fine soon. You can take her home after three days. You can take her report now. Don't let her stress much, it's harmful for her.
All the best!"
Dr.Arun kept his hand on his shoulder and walked away.
Siddhant was about to fall after hearing about Avyakta's condition but was immediately held by Priya, Siddhant's sister. His legs gave no support to him.
She made herself sit with him on the hospital chair.
Tears, falling down, unstoppable.
Priya held his arm and consoled her brother.
"Bhaiyaa..
Please.. calm down..I..know Bhabhi..{Sister-In-law} she'll be fine very soon.."
She had no words to say at that time. Seeing her dearest Bhabhi in that state, held her and the whole family rooted at her spot. She couldn't decipher the situation.
"H-how can I...look at her...
How she's lying there...on bed.. I can't.. I just can't live like that..
It's difficult...very difficult.."
His words drew an outpour of lamentations.
"Siddhant ji..they're arrested!"
Kushal, Avyakta's brother came running to him.
Siddhant turned red from collar to roots of hair. He clenched his jaws and stood up from her sister's embrace.
Without listening anyone, he drove his car to where he was intending to,with Kushal and few others.

It was the day when Avyakta has to get discharged. Everyone was delighted, except the few members standing at the corner. Siddhant and his family.
They tried to convince her a lot. Alas! they were unsuccessful. It was a heart-wrenching seperation for them, especially for him. She refused to even look at him because -She didn't know who they are?
Why are they being so much considerate about her? Why did he called himself as her husband?
These questions rang in her mind and without giving him a small glance even, went away with her family.

Rain.
‘Rain and love has an awesome similarity-Both comes in our life as a blessing!
The only difference is one moisten the earth and the other moisten the eye,sometimes...’
Siddhant was sitting near his room's window. The room which felt empty without 'her' presence. He was reminiscing the good-old days. Siddhant and Avaykta's 2 years old marriage all went in vain. Their fathers were good friends, though Siddhant and Avyakta never knew each other until the day he came to see her a prospective boy for marriage. Her smart way of answering, her personality, her aura drew him to her and same was the case of Avyakta.
He always wanted to choose his wife on the basis of her inner self not the outer show off. And she was the person who had all the qualities.
His younger sisters, Ruchi and Priya, Ruchi's husband and his parents loved the girl and choose her as the one who'll marry the boy.
Avyakta's big family that included her aunts, uncles, cousins, parents grew cheerful, similarly.
Since,Siddhant worked in Delhi, after marrying her, they flew back from Rentachintala.
Avyakta's family, too, started living there, due to business purpose.
