All through the school day, I find myself thinking of Wade. The new student.

The new, really cute, student.

But Pops won't let me date till I'm a senior, and unfortunately for me, I'm a junior.

Finally, the last bell rings, and I'm set free, to probably play video games with Harley, Ned, and MJ until five, when they have to go home, so Harley and I can work on homework.

(Dad's rule, actually, not Pops)

I run out of the school as fast as possible, hoping to beat everyone to MJ's car.

MJ is the only one out of the four of us to have a car. She got it last year, which is when our game started.

I slam my hands on the window of her dark blue Mini Cooper.

"Yes!" I cheer. "First!" I jump around, before casting my eyes downward, self-conscious.

"Peter! Ugh! I thought I would win!" MJ's next, and she unlocks her car. I happily get in the front.

"I never get to sit in the front, this is so exciting."

"Harley told me you met someone today?" MJ asks, waggling her eyebrows. I blush, looking at my Converse.

Two loud bangs hit the car in succession, and MJ curses.

"Really boys?" I roll down my window so MJ can yell at my brother and Ned, who were apparently in a race since they share last period. "You both are getting in through the trunk."

Harley and Ned groan and walk around back. MJ pops the trunk, and they clamber in.

"So, Pete, tell me about the boy?" MJ asks again as she pulls out of the driveway.

"There was no boy," I mumble.

"Mhm. MJ, he was in our Spanish class, his name is Wade Wilson, and Peter's in love with him." Harley teases. I put my head in my hands, and groan.

"I hate all of you. But especially Harley." I announce through my hands.

"Aww. We love you too." MJ plants a kiss on my open cheek, before looking back on the road.

"Ned, pull out your phone and google Wade Wilson." MJ orders.

"Already did it. I'm following his account, and I forwarded the information to you, MJ," He answers.

"Thanks, darling," MJ answers cheekily, pulling into my driveway. "Now what should we play today."

"Harley's feeling confident in his MarioKart skills," I answer, glad to change the subject.

"Oh, are you? Are you, Harley?" Ned asks, grabbing his backpack and following us to the door.

"Pops, we're home!"  I call.

"Hey, everyone! How was school?" Steve slides off the kitchen counter, setting his sketchbook down to greet us.

"Pretty good," Harley says. "Peter met-" I elbow Harley in the ribs, and take over his sentence.

"I met my new engineering teacher, she's pretty nice," I lie, smiling.

"Great. Now, are you four planning on playing games? Ned, your mom texted, she wants you home at 4:30, to help with dinner." Pops says.

"Ok, Steve, thank you," Ned replies, frowning.

"Now let's go play MarioKart!" Harley cheers, leading us to the basement, where a Nintendo is set up, along with a table, where Harley, Dad, and Pops will play board games. (It's a tradition. We play every Saturday and Wednesday night)

"Hey, Pops! Could you bring down some chips!" Harley shouts.

"Get them yourself, Harls!" Steve replies. Harley grumbles and climbs back up the steps, coming down moments later with a bag of potato chips.

"Alright losers, ready?" MJ asks, and starts the round.

Ok, so you met Wade, kind of.
