It's been almost three weeks since school started.

Harley's been acting weird, even Ned and MJ have noticed something.

But he won't talk to me. We've told each other everything.

"Peter, Peter!" Morgan runs over to me, her backpack slung over one shoulder, waving her arms at me. I crouch down and wrap my nine year old sister in a hug, before standing back up.

"Hey, Morgan, how was school?" Normally Pops or Dad would pick her up since she has extracurriculars after school, but Pops had a client meeting today, and Dad went with him. So I volunteered to pick her up. Normally Harley would come with me, but today he just slipped into our room.

When I poked my head inside to grab my jacket, Harley was fast asleep.

I wish he would talk to me, but I know Harley. He'll talk when he's ready.

"School was really fun. We learned about the government." Morgan exclaims.

"And what about the government did you learn?" I respond. Morgan grabs my hand as we walk back to Dad's car.

Neither me nor Harley actually owns a car, but both of us have licenses. Since Dad and Pops took Pops' car, I got to use Dad's car to pick up Morgan.

"Where's Harley?" Morgan asks once we get to the car. She throws her backpack into the back and clambers in, buckling up her seatbelt. I walk around to the driver's side, and start the car, before answering Morgan.

"He wasn't feeling that great, so he decided to stay in bed," I explain. Morgan nods, I can see it in the review mirror.

"He hasn't been feeling well for a long time," Morgan responds, wisely. I nod.

Even Morgan's noticed something's up.

****TIME SKIP****

I pull into our driveway and grab Morgan's backpack out of the back seat. I follow Morgan into the patio and unlock the door. Morgan pulls her shoes off and runs straight to mine and Harley's room.

"No! Morgan, he might be-" I call, but I can already hear Morgan waking Harley up. I set Morgan's backpack on the table.

"Harley! Harley! I learned about the government today! And I drew pictures! And we went to the library!" Morgan tells Harley excitedly. I slip into our room and smile to see Harley sitting up, blearily rubbing his eyes, and Morgan sitting at the end of the bunk bed. Top bunk.

"Hey, Harls, how was your nap?" I ask, hanging up my sweatshirt.

"Nice." He replies.

"Can we play Mario Kart?" Morgan begs. Harley rolls, yes rolls, out of bed. He lands on his feet and stretches.

"Why not?" Harley shrugs and bumps my shoulder. "C'mon Pete, let's go loose to a nine-year-old." Harley winks. Morgan has always been oddly good at Mario Kart. Often she'll do better than me, but I suck at Mario Kart. Harley's always been better, but even Morgan beats him occasionally. Harley moves to follow Morgan, who's running down the hallway to the basement door, but I grab his hand.

"Morgan, you go get it set up, we'll be down in a second!" I call to Morgan who's already running down the stairs.

"Okay!" She replies.

"What is it, Pete?" Harley asks, pulling lightly away from me.

"What's wrong? Why won't you talk to me?" I beg.

"Whadda mean?"

"I mean most days after school, you won't play video games with Ned, MJ and me, you barely talk to Dad or Pops, or even Morgan at dinner. And don't think nobody but me has noticed, because Morgan's asking about you. Even Pops has come up to me asking if something was wrong, and I've told him no, we've just a lot going on, but if you don't tell me, I can't help you," I plead with Harley.

Harley grins shakily. "I'm fine, I promise." He responds.

I sigh inwardly. He's lying, I can tell.

"If you don't want to tell me that's fine, but please don't lie to me," I say. Harley swallows and nods. "When you're ready to tell me, I'll be here," I comfort, before letting go of my twin's hand and walking out of our room.
