Chapter 28

Nightmare was on his ship, staring off. 

His ship was docked on his island right now. 

Does Cross.... not what to be with me....?

"Captain!" 

Blue walked up. 

"Hey hun," Nightmare said with a small smile, but it faded away. Blue giggled. "Talk to me," he said. "I'm fine," Nightmare said. Blue shook his head, looking at the crew, that were all chatting and talking together. 

"You have a longing look in your eyes... Is it Cross?" Blue asked. Nightmare let out a small sigh. "I mean, I guess... I just thought he wanted to be with me today... Ever since he came back from Dream, he's been acting weird... Like he's hiding something big from m-" Nightmare gasped. "Does he love Dream now...?!" Nightmare said, then he started to break down. 

"Hey, hey, Captian....!" Blue said before Nightmare broke down. "It's okay...! It's not like that, promise! Who knows! Cross might be planning something for the two of you...! Cross just knows you know him so well, that he is distancing himself so you won't find out!" Blue said. Nightmare frowned. "B-But... I don't like materialistic presents... I just wanted his love..." Nightmare whispered. 

Blue frowned. 

He wasn't all that close to Nightmare, but he could talk to him about things. 

Blue looked at the crew, scanning for Dust. 

"You never know, Captain...! He might want to have sex with you~"

Lust walked up. Nightmare covered his face, blushing. 

Lust giggled. "Captain... You have to have faith for Cross. He's not cheating or anything," Lust said. "I don't think he's heating... Maybe he's tired of me..." Nightmare said. "But you still have to trust Cross, that he'd talk to you," Blue said. "Yeah!" Lust said, then Nightmare uncovered his face. "Y-Yeah... yeah..." Nightmare said softly. 

"Moonlight. There you are..."

Nightmare backed away from the edge of the boat to see Cross sitting on it, facing Nightmare. 

"We'll leave!" Lust said as Blue giggled. 
"Awww! It was getting spicey!!!" Blue whined as Lust pulled him away. 

"Crossy...!" Nightmare said a bit happily. Cross smiled. "It's almost sunset. The lights will be on soon," Cross said. "R-Right...!" Nightmare said. "Come on. I'll take you to change into your outfit and get ready, we'll take you to your family dinner, then you're all mine," Cross said. Nightmare blushed and smiled. "I'm all yours?" Nightmare said, giggling. 

Cross pulled Nightmare close. He kissed Nightmare on the lips. 

"All mine," Cross whispered as Nightmare giggled. 

Cross wrapped his arms around Nightmare's waist. 

"Come on..." Cross said before teleporting the two. 
Cross teleported them both outside of Dream's bedroom. 

"I'll wait out here for you," Cross said, knocking on Dream's door. "Kk," Nightmare said. 

Dream opened the bedroom door but cracked it. 

Dream was blushing deeply. His hair was a mess and his crown was off. 

"Brother...! You're here...! Oh um- Give me a second," Dream said before shutting the bedroom door and locking it. 

"They were touching each other," Cross said. "How do you know?!?!?!" Nightmare said. "Because, when I touched you, you had that same look in your eyes," Cross said. Nightmare blushed, then scoffed. "Stupid Ice," Nightmare growled. Cross chuckled a little. He kissed Nightmare on the cheek and backed away, just as the door opened.
