Chapter 5

When we left the room, we saw September and Nicole staring at each other. Just staring. It was an intense stare, and I smiled. Most girls would be disgusted by her friend and brother liking each other, but I liked the idea. Nicole needed someone who is nice to her, a boy I mean, and will care for her. She had dated many boys, but none she liked. A few she hated.

I know what you're thinking. Dating at thirteen? Well, Nicole was actually fourteen-going-on-fifteen, but really. It's the twenty first century. Things like this happen. Well, dating someone two years younger? Well, that's weird, but honestly, who cares?

"Guys, make out, step away blushing, get a room, anything. You're just standing there. It's weird." I told them, standing right in front of them. They turned away and blushed.

"Okay, now that that's over, let's go. Bye Jas!! Thank you so much!" I called back to Jas as we left out the front door. As we piled in the car, September asked: "So, is it true?"

"Why, yes it is! I am Eva Night, and I am uber-powerful. Take everyone home, September." I said once we were all in the car.

On the drive to everyone's houses I explained everything to September and Nicole what happened in Jasleen's room. "So, yes, I am Eva Night. And I'm gonna go to Hogwarts." Now that I knew it was true, I was happy.

I'm planning on going to Diagon Alley and getting as many books as possible to find out who I am. I could ask Jas, but e whole truth, not just what she knows, and what she's willing to tell me, without her thinking she will hurt or offend me.

Once we get home, I burst through the door, hug my Aunt and Uncle, who were pacing the length of the living room. "I'm sorry." I told them.

"For what honey, we get it. We were just worried about you. How did you find out?" Mom said, and gave me the letter.

"Jasleen is a wizard to. She's going to Hogwarts." I smiled up at them. Then I opened the letter.

Enclosed in the letter were several sheets of paper. One was The list of supplies, one the Hogwarts introduction letter, which I read, and had all the things I already know. The next one was a letter from the headmistress. Lovegood, so, Luna. Luna is headmistress. Wow.

The letter from Lovegood was about how I was going to get to Hogwarts. They were going to send someone to my house to go to Diagon Alley on the twenty-second of June, at twelve, and send the same person to get me to the train, but only to the train that time, with no help after the barrier.

By the time I finished reading the letter, it was ten o'clock. I decided to go to bed. I got dressed in short pajama shorts and a tank top. When I was about to climb in bed, I noticed my Sorcerer's Stone book on my bed. When I looked at the cover, I ran to my bathroom and looked at my forehead. I looked everywhere, and I couldn't find anything. I growled, and walked into my parents room. "Where's my scar?" I asked them.

They looked at each other, then at me. "The Ministry of Magic had a spell put on it so you couldn't see it. They knew with the Harry Potter books out there, someone would find out, or think you were weird and had cut a scar on your forehead because you were such a fan."

"So the wizard tomorrow will take it off?" I asked them.

"They should," my aunt said to me.

I went back to bed, happy.
