Chapter 7
Once I had bought everything I needed, I had complained about allot of things, including how we needed parchment, not lined paper. That had pissed me off. How are we expected to write strait when there were no lines? Then I saw the lined parchment, and I was okay.
The last thing I needed was a wand. We went to Olivanders, and he was as creepy as Harry described him in the book. He didn't waste time. Right away he took the wand out that is the twin with Vipera's wand, and handed it to me.
A warm feeling tingled up my arm, and I waved the wand. The tool McLaggen was sitting on turned into a frog, and back again. McLaggen looked scarred. I laughed.
When I had bought the wand, McLaggen took me home.
"I'm home!" I called up the stairs as I lugged all my stuff up, but I couldn't. "And need help!"
Nicole came running down the stairs. "Nicole? Why are you here?"
She smiled, and just took my smaller bags. She started upstairs.
I followed her, and when we were all closed up in my room, she squealed, your brother asked me out!"
I smiled and hugged her. "Congrats. Now help me unpack these things.
We spent hours unpacking things and hiding them in my room. We didn't want anyone to know what was going on.
"So, today after I ran out - Wait! Look at my scar!" I pointed. She gasped.
"So cool. Go on?"
"Well, I saw the Weasleys. So cool. Going to school with Rose, in same year and everything." I knew Nicole would get excited about that.
"Whoa June! I mean, Eva... That sounds weird." She frowned. "Anyways, that's so cool! I wish I coulda been there!"
"I wish you were to... But Gringotts was horrible. You know how motion sick I get... speaking of, I'm hungry." My stomach growled. "I didn't have breakfast." I looked at my phone's time, "or lunch." It was 3:30.
We walked into the kitchen, and got out loads of food. Chips, salsa, guacamole, etc. While we ate, we talked. I had just recently seen A Very Potter Musical, and we were laughing about certain moments.
When we were packing up the food to put it back in the fridge, September came down the stairs. He said hi to me, but went to hug Nicole. I smiled at them and said, "and this would be my que to leave!" I said, and turned around to leave.
"No! How was Diagon Alley? I'm sure it was allot of fun!" September asked me, as I turned around to look at them.
"Well, it was. Not with McLaggen, though. He was a jerk. But I met the Weasleys! And found out how immensely rich I am! And that all the small coins don't fit into my wallet. Oh! And that going down a 60o angle at over a hundred miles an hour, while twisting and turning in a mine cart, makes me retch. Allot." I told them, well, mainly September, since Nicole already know about all of it.
"Well, sounds fun!" He said slowly, while poking me repeatedly in the stomach.
I swiped at his hands. Then I got out my wand. "I will use this." I said to him, and tried to look threatening.
"B-but you can't! Aren't there rules?" He looked worried, and uncertain.
"Nope, not in America, according to Jas." I said shortly, but smiled, and went to really examining my wand for the first time.
The wand was beautiful. I had been told it had a unicorn hair inside it, and it was ash wood. It matched my hair! I smiled. I know I'm weird, again. It was beautiful though. It had carvings on the handle, and viney patterns going up a side of it.
Nicole tried to take it out of my hand, but I held onto it. "No touchy!" I screamed, and went upstairs to show my aunt and uncle.
