Chapter 8

The next two months were soo boring. The only exciting part was when September had to go to school. That was fun. Well, and when me and my friends would hang out, but even that wasn't as fun as it normally would be, because I wanted to go to Hogwarts. I had nearly memorized all the books, because I read them so much. I felt like Hermione.

At last, it was the 31st of August. Isis and Nicole had invited themselves over to help me pack. I had bought a humongous trunk at Diagon Alley, so I was set. I put all my clothes in, my toiletries, my very special Vampire Diaries calendar, all my books, my very special Percy Jackson poster, and all my school supplies and robes. I had a bunch of electronics I wanted to bring, but I didn't know if I could because of the whole, magic makes muggle electronics go haywire. But I packed them in my backpack, which contained my favorite two books, for on the train, a journal so I can write everything that happens while I'm at Hogwarts, and my electronics. I could easily unpack them if needed.

Once I had everything packed, I decided to go to bed, because packing had taken from noon to eight o'clock pm. I had to get up early the next day, so I went to bed.

I woke up on the first of September around 4. I decided to take a shower, and get ready before McLaggen got here. When I finished, and my hair was dry and everything, I heard a loud pop downstairs. I checked my phone for the time. 5:30. Wow, early. Shoot.

I got dressed in my best black skinny jeans, and a simple grey tank top, and a blue cardigan, to hide that the tank top is kind of small, brought in by a belt at the waist.

I ran downstairs with my backpack, which is an amazing backpack by the way, it had patterns on it that match my wand, and it was an amazing Caribbean Blue color. I couldn't believe I found it, but I think it may have been magic!

But, anyways, I told him to go get my suitcase, and while he grumbled about it, going and getting it, I texted my friends, saying I was leaving. I didn't care haw early it was.

When McLaggen came back down, I asked him about the electronics, and he said it was fine. That problem was fixed years ago.

            So we disapperated.

We arrived right in front of the brick wall, or the barrier between platform nine and ten.

"Why didn't you just apparate on the platform?" I asked McLaggen.

"You can't, I don't know why, but they have a spell preventing it." He explained. "Now, run. I need to get home." He added gruffly.

I ran at the barrier. I was terrified. What if something happened, like in the second Harry Potter book... but I disappeared through the wall before I would worry too much.

The platform was amazing. Steam everywhere, but I could still see everything. People meeting people, and kids alone, and kids leaving there parents to go on the train.

I didn't stick around the barrier. I marched through the crowd, and didn't worry about anyone finding out I'm Eva Night, because I had my hair half covering my face.

I got on the bright scarlet train. There were kids running up and down the halls, acting like lunatics. I sighed, and went to find an empty compartment. This was not an easy feat. But finally, one of the last compartments available, I got an empty one. You'd think they'd magically expand the train so everyone could each have their own compartment. But, no. I started to put my super heavy bag on top the rack above the seats, but I couldn't. It was too heavy.
