A Second Novel to 'At My Best'
I was holding the tray of food that I am about to bring to Lisa when I saw her rumaging her things in her cabinet.
"Lisa? What are you looking for?" I asked as I hurriedly put the tray to the nearest flat surface I see in the room - her bed.
"Just leave me alone!!" She shouted but I didn't bother. I held her arms to stop her. She's beginning to throw things as she desperately search for nothing.
"Please, baby. Stop it" I pleaded as I started to cry again.
It. Fucking. Hurts. To. See. Her. This. Way.
"No!!" She hissed. "Don't stop me!!" She added.
"Tell me what you are looking for so I could help you!" I managed to calm myself. Battling in her hot headedness won't ever help the situation.
"I'm trying to look for myself!!" She yelled and cried loudly. It hurts me so much seeing her in this state. She used to be happy, we used to be happy.
"You are looking for yourself but then you cannot even looking at me, Lisa. How could you find it when you don't even spare a look on the answer? I'm the missing piece in you that you are looking for" I sadly said before slumping myself to the nearest couch and began to cry.
We both cried silently. I want to hug her but I'm afraid that it'll only make the situation worst.
"I'm not married. I can never be married. I don't even know you!!" She yelled once more before leaving me again alone, dumbfounded as I try to stop myself from crying harder.

My eyes were still puffy the next morning. I ruffled my hair and grabbed my phone when I heard several slams from the next room - Lisa's room.
I threw my phone back to the side table of my bed and quickly ran out to check on her.
"Hey, Lisa what's happening?" I barged inside her room.
She stopped in her tracks and looked at me from head to toe. Geez, I just realized I'm still in my nighties and I don't even have a bra right now. I saw her gulped heavily as she tries to remain calm and normal.
"U-uhhh.... w-what are you doing here? I told you, leave me alone!!" She stammered which makes me want to laugh. It's still so you baby.
"I'm not leaving you, Lisa. Even how much you push me away, I'm still your wife and I won't leave you. I promised that when we got married" I sadly uttered as my eyes started to well up again. How much more tears would I shed until you love me again?
"I will go out today" she uttered making me look back to her.
"Where are you going?" I asked.
"I'll find Tzuyu" she said making me confuse. Find who?
"Who is she?" I asked.
"My girlfriend" she uttered making my eyes grow wider and my heart felt weak and burning in pain.
