Christmas break🎄

Mrs maikudi's POV
Today is a very good day for me because my daughters would be coming back from boarding I really can't wait to see them , I'm sure noor would be so excited by now , I bought all their favorite snacks and cooked their favorite food , I can't wait to see  them .

Anty blessing (the maid ): madam your phone is ringing

Mrs maikudi :ok  give it , I answered the call and it was noor's daddy he left his documents at home and needed it soon for a meeting , oh lord that office is far and I have to pick up noor and Islam early , I'll just ask Anas to do it .
Mrs maikudi called Anas downstairs and explained to him that she had something to do and he needed to go get the girls along with the driver from school , Anas went to get ready although reluctantly , he wasn't really interested in such errands anymore ,

It was a long drive to the school but they got there just in time , immediately the girls spotted Anas they ran happily towards him , they both gave him a big hug which he felt disgusted by , noor asked him how university was and that was how he remembered that he was once obsessed with the little girl , he just nodded to the question and left the girls confused, will noor's presence force him to go back to the old him ?the question kept ringing in his head but he ignored it , he wasn't going to let that happen besides he has Rebecca . All the luggage was put in the car and they were all set to go , islam slept off while noor checked her bag for the diary that was gifted to her , she already started to write in it , it was like her best friend who she would tell all the activities of the day , noor couldn't find it in her bag this made her worried so she asked the driver to stop the car , he was confused though, please turn the car around I forgot something said noor , Anas was infuriated because he needed to go home and sleep he barely slept last night  , noor what's your problem why should he go back said Anas , yaya Anas I forgot something important, he completely ignored her in an attempt not to shout at her because he hadn't taken  any drugs today and he had gotten addicted without them he loses  his temper anyhow , the driver got to the school and noor immediately came down from the car she ran to go get her book , she found it on a bench close to the cafeteria she was so happy no one had taken it , when Anas saw the book in her hands he was really surprised he didn't know it held so much Importance that she would  tell the driver to turn back after they were almost home , the thought of that warmed his heart . They got home and noor's mom was patiently waiting , immediately she saw them she rushed and gave them all a hug she started stuffing them with food too , she just realized how much she missed them , after lunch noor started to tell her mom everything that happen in school , she said she liked her school and was glad she went , because everyone was nice to her and she had a lot of school parents to protect her , ok noor that's enough now I think you should go rest.  Islam is already sleeping upstairs go and join her , ok mummy I'll go  but please wake me up as soon as dad is back , ok I'll ,said Mrs maikudi .

It was evening already and mr maikudi was back from work , he had bought two new phones , one for noor and the other for Islam , he felt it was ok for them to have phones since they were already in secondary school, he entered the house and immediately noor heard he dad's voice she ran downstairs, daddy daddy I missed you so much she hugged him , easy noor you can't keep shouting this much you are a grown girl now , noor only laughed she didn't want to grow up she always wanted to be daddy's little girl , he handed her the new phone and asked where Islam was , noor was so happy she didn't know what to do anymore , she thanked him and told him that Islam was still sleeping , hey you are back welcome said Mrs maikudi , he stood up and kissed his wife and daughter on their forehead and announced that he had to go to bed early because he was traveling the next morning he was a soldier so his job had a lot to do with traveling , noor was sad but she had no choice but to endure till he came back , noor showed her mom the new phone and her mom promised to help her set it up by tomorrow but she wasn't going to be allowed to be on any social platform until she was 13 that was next year , yes she had grown up so fast already , islam was given her own phone too and she was quite grateful since she loved to play games a lot , she finally had her own phone to play with .
