Noor had just finished with her last paper for waec which was chemistry and she was heading home , she didn't write jamb because she and lady Maimuna were going to relocate to England , Maimuna's husband was very rich when he was alive so he left a lot of money and properties behind he even had a house in England that was where noor and Maimuna were going to live , noor knew leaving Nigeria to a foreign country would be a big step but she thought it was best for her . Noor had gotten home and immediately hugged Maimuna she was really happy because chemistry was quite easy for her it was her favorite subject she loved it because it had to do with a lot of funny names (silly noor)
Noor : hey mama I'm done with my exams I'm so happy now we can spend time ,have fun and whatnot .

Maimuna: congratulations my love we need to throw a party ( she said jokingly )

Noor: Haba mama stop mocking me 😂

Maimuna : you know I wouldn't my love , so now that you are done we have talk about our relocation, you know it's only for a while until you are done with school noor and you know the course you wish to study can not be found in Nigerian universities so that's why I have made this decision but I want you to be sure and tell me what you want because it's up to you noor , i understand that you would miss this place but I will too I am making this sacrifice for both of us .

Noor : mama I'm very grateful and I don't know how to thank you because you have treated me like your real daughter right from the beginning, thank you mama I love your decision and may almighty Allah reward you for this I don't know what I would do without you in my life mama I love you so much ( noor was in tears by now ).
Don't cry my dear , you have been my daughter since the first day and nothing else don't ever talk like this again I don't like it , what's England I would take you to Pluto if you wanted my love , clean your tears .
The bond they shared was beautiful but noor still felt guilty that she never told her the truth about her real mom .

Noor's result was out and she passed wonderfully , she even got a scholarship to one of the universities in the uk 🇬🇧, ya Allah you have answered my prayers said noor , this was what she always wanted she didn't want Maimuna to have to pay her fees anymore so she was really happy when she got the scholarship at least she would reduce the expenses for her mom ,
Maimuna : noorie na (my noor ) you have made me so proud masha Allah , what do you want noor I'll buy you anything at all just say it .
Maimuna was so happy that her daughter was the definition of beauty and brains .
Now that I have passed I think I should write another letter to mom thought noor , yes I'll write her a letter and also tell her that I'll be traveling too I know she would be sad but it's not yet time to go back I'm not ready yet but this time I'll tell her to write to me also and keep the letter somewhere , I needed her response, I needed her prayers I needed to hear from my mom it's been years without her 💔

Dear mommy,
I miss you I'm sorry I'm saying this because we aren't supposed to be apart like this but everything happens for a reason I have good news and bad new mom I'll start with the good one , mommy I passed my exams I even got a scholarship at a school in England i am so happy mom thank you for the prayers and then the bad news is that I'll be moving to England till I'm done with my university don't be scared mom I'll be going with my helper she's a lady too mom don't panic she takes good care of me , I know mom I shouldn't be doing this but please trust me please mom I'll be back it's just 4 years then I'll be back to see you mom I promise , don't do anything to stop me please mom if you do I'll commit suicide and leave you I'm sure you don't want to be childless ? Toh mom this time please write back to me , keep the letter by the fountain in maitama park by 4pm on Friday please mom don't wait for me , immediately you drop it please leave , someday you will understand everything mom , take care mom , we will meet soon I promise .I love you ❤️

Noor's second letter to her mom wasn't as blissful as the first one because she had to say goodbye to her , mrs maikudi on the other hand waited everyday for a new letter from her daughter seeing the content might leave her devastated.
Noor had already posted the letter and now she waited for Friday to go get her mom's reply from the park . Was her mom going to stop her ? Was she going to be angry ? Would she even be in support ? 🥺all this questions kept repeating themselves in noor's head .
