You see her,
Standing there in all her glory,
Looking nothing less of Christmas morning
She was blooming, gracing her presence to everyone and everything around her
Spreading her arms like she has everything to give and nothing to lose.
You see her
Glistening in the bright sun,swaying in the cool breeze
Smiling like a mother who had just seen her new born child
Singing and dancing like she was carefree, capturing the moment like it was her last
She notices you,
A harmless creature struggling in the dark
She oblivious to your greedy and cunning nature takes you in like her own
She pulls you from the never ending abyss
She envelops you,coverts you from all the dismay
Her breath warmer than steam,
Her embrace enough to make anyone secure from death himself
Her voice soothing the demons in you
She breathed life into everything and everyone
And they worshipped the land she walked on, thanking her
But you
She gave you everything she held dear
But you,
You stole her happiness one by one rendering her hopeless
You ruined her beauty,disappointing her
You wronged her,by exploiting her kindness
You walked all over her, wounding her from within
You treated her like trash scarring her deeper than sword in the world ever could
You destroyed her
Without a second thought
Without any remorse.
You let her slip through your fingers
You let her go,
You trapped her,
You ruined her,
You broke her,
Yet you stand here feeling absolutely nothing.
