"What?! Why?!" Jenny was almost in tears as her boyfriend, Will, explained to her that he was moving.

She could hear his voice shaking, tears creeping in on his face. She promised to see him off to California tomorrow morning no matter how bad it hurt. They said their goodbyes and ended the call. Jenny shoved her face far into her pillow and began to cry. By this time is was midnight on Saturday night. After a few minutes of uncontrolled sobbing, she began to change into her track suit. She quietly snuck down the stairs and out the front door. She began her midnight walk she liked to take to blow off steam. She put her headphones on and listen to the song her and Will listened to at the first concert they went to. She walked about a half a mile when she noticed a shadow following her. She whipped around, but saw nothing but blackness lit by dim street lamps. She continued her walk now with her headphones around her neck so she could listen to her surroundings.

She assumed her troubles were getting the best of her, so she continued her walk. She must've been lost in her music because now she was here. The part of town her mom had warned her to stay away from. Her dad was shot dead here after trying to buy a candy bar for Jenny. Jenny felt something run up her spine. She remembered coming home from school and finding out her father had been shot to death. His killer was never found and is still being hunted. She hated this person with a passion. She prayed for the day he was put behind bars. Jenny turned around to feel the coldness of a gun pressed against her head. She let out a small gasp and slowly moved her eyes up. She noticed a car parked on the curb.

"Get in." the man glared at her, his finger on the trigger.

"What's going..." Jenny began but was cut off.

"If I were you, I'd keep my mouth shut and get in." the tall, shadowy man said. He pushed her forward and into the car.

Now she wished she'd stayed home. She began to feel shivers running up her spine again. She was one word away from joining her dad and worrying her mom to the point of joining them both due to heart attack. She climbed in the backseat and the door slammed, almost smashing her fingers. The man climbed in the front seat and drove off. Why was this happening? What did I do? Jenny began to think long and hard if she had ever heard the voice of this man. Then it hit her! Watching the video footage of the day her dad was shot, she remembered hearing that same voice. She did it! She found her dad's killer! Now what?
