"What can we do for you officers?" My dad asks.

"Daddy let them in. Please come in and sit down." I say politely. " Mom can you get me some water please. Officers would you like anything?"

"No thank you." They walk inside and see all of us staring. "My name is Officer Daniels and this is Officer Gaines. We are here to ask a few questions." Nik grabs my hand and I squeeze it. " Are you Riley Reynolds and Nikoli Freeman?"

"Yes, what can we do for you?" I ask.

" How did you know about the accident?"

"Damion called me from Vanessa's phone. He said and I quote here 'Riley...bridge...school'. He kept repeating it until the line went dead. So Nik and I left and found the car in the river."

"Why didn't you call 911?"

"because I knew you wouldn't make it in time. Damion was barely alive when we got there and Vanessa was trapped in the car submerged in the water. I brought her back to life performing CPR."

"how do you know we wouldn't have made it in time?"

"Look Officer Daniels. It's been a really long day, I'm tired, and in a lot of pain. I'm not trying to be disrespectful but your station is on the complete opposite side of town from where we found them. We saved 2 lives tonight."

"Wait.... You're her.... You're the Bionic Girl." Officer Gaines says with amazement.

I look at him and smile. "Yes. I am. Would you like to feel my arm?" He nods. I reach forward. He gently touches it. "Its ok. You wont hurt me." I chuckle. He squeezes harder. "New and improved. I'm stronger and faster now."

"Wow.. why did you have to get them." He asks.

"When I was 5, I was in a horrible car accident."

"She was trapped in the car trying to get out when she was burning alive." Officer Daniels says.

I look to him in surprise. "I was trapped then someone came and got me out. I was so exhausted. But they kept saying 3 things to me over and over."

"You can get through this. Don't give up. You are strong." He says with a smile. "I never thought I would see that little girl all grown up."

"It was you. You gave me so much hope. I live by those 3 sentences. I try to be a good person. I try to see the best in everyone."

"Don't ever change Riley. The world needs more people like you. Everyone kept telling me you weren't going to survive. But look at you. Look at everything you have overcome. You are strong. I have been following you through out the years. I have kept in touch with your doctor. When I heard that a girl saved those 2 kids, I had to be on the case. I needed to see how much you have grown. Then The doctor told me that you gave some epic speeches and the boy woke up, and the girl moved her hand. I had to come and see you. I had to tell you that you are such a strong, inspiring, and amazing young lady. I am so glad that I saved you, all those years ago. Keep being who you are. Don't let anyone put you down. Be strong."

I look to him with tears in my eyes. I grab his and squeeze. "Thank you for everything. Don't be a stranger though."

"Well we have everything we need. I wont be a stranger anymore. I heard about your engagement. Congratulations. When is the wedding?"

I look to Nik and smile wide. He grabs my hand. "Christmas eve. On the same day that we met all those years ago." I turn to back to Officer Daniels. "We would love for you to be there."

"I will be there. We will be leaving now. You get your rest."

We all say goodbye and they leave. I sit in my chair, Nik grabs my hand. I look to him and smile. "You ready for bed?" He asks.
