The Plan

"Do you know how to fly?" Poe asked, throwing me a Resistance helmet. While my droid rolled behind me. Back at the Academy I flew, but Ben did more then me.

"Do you not know who I am?" I jokingly laughed. Poe shrugged his shoulders, holding back his amusement. I wasn't that confident in my flying skills, but Poe didn't need to know that. I climbed the steps to the X-wing. While KT was lifted in. We all lifted off out of the atmosphere, following Poe's lead. We flew to the Takodana system. My eyes widened to see TIE fighters and other First Order transports flying through the air and over the water.

"I missed flying." I laughed talking to my droid. She beeped in response with excitment in her system. I wasn't good at blasting, but I could steer and keep it in the air. If that counted?

"Go straight at them! Don't let these dogs scare you!" Poe ordered through the headset.

"Copy that." A girl named Jess responded.

"We're with you, Poe." A boy named Snap added.

"Yessir." I smiled before going higher into the air. I blasted at the three TIE fighters approaching me. I managed to hit one, before I missed the other two.

"I got one!" I shouted as Poe sped by me as he knocked out three at once. He laughed into his com.

"Sleemo." I cursed to myself. Causing him to laugh even more. A TIE locked on me from behind. I smiled to myself as I did a backflip in my ship. Until I was behind it. It took a while but I eventually shot it down and continued to do the same with the one I was originally chasing. I smiled seeing the First Order evacuate the planet.

"Back to base, everyone!" Poe cheered. As well as everyone else. I blasted off into hyperspace back to the base. When my ship landed I jumped out and helped KT down from the bottom of it. I looked up to see the stormtrooper Finn hugging Poe with the BB unit I had heard so much about.

"We got thrown from the crash. We woke up at night. No you. No ship. Nothing. BB-8 says that you saved him." Poe laughed.

"Annie." Finn cheered embracing me in a hug. I smiled back and pulled a way.

"No. It wasn't just me." Finn tried to explain.

"You completed my mission, Finn." Poe smiled with gratitude before looking down at Finns attire.

"That's my jacket." He laughed.

"Oh." Finn went to pull it off.

"No, no, no. Keep it, it suits you." Poe winked jokingly.

"You're a good man, Finn." Poe nodded in approval.

"I need your guys help. The girl, Rey. That helped save BB-8 was taken by the First Order. We have to get her back." Finn begged.

"We can talk to Leia about this." I nodded. The three of us entered the inside of the base where Leia spoke to Han and Chewie. I gasped seeing the two speaking with the princess. I hadn't seen them since the temple. I ran up away from the boys and embraced Han in a hug.

"Annie." He gasped wrapping his arms around me. He pulled back and looked at me in shock.

"I-I thought he killed you." Han mumbled speaking of his only child.

"He kept me locked up for years, but these two freed me." I smiled looking to Finn and Poe.

"If I had known." Han mumbled to himself before I spun to chewie. He roared out before embracing me in his warm furry arms. He spoke out again, happy to see me.
