I'm back

"it's been a while, huh?"

It's been three years.

I was away for three years.

I had just come back to Korea.

I was doing amazing.

I was no longer filled with self doubt or hatred.

I finally loved myself.

I accepted what you did to me.

Everything that happened, I finally accepted it.

I was okay again.

And it felt great.

It felt great to finally stop being troubled by things that happened in the past.

I can now look to the future and not be haunted by the past.

I was in Korea for about a week now.

I went to a new cafe that had just opened up.

And that's when I saw you.

You looked the same for the most part.

Except you cut your hair.

It was curly and looked like it was newly dyed a pitch black.

I was happy when I saw you.

I was happy because when I layed eyes on you, my heart didn't skip a beat.

I didn't feel anything when I saw you.

I felt so accomplished.

I was finally over you.

When you looked at me you were shocked.

I thought you were gonna pretend you didn't know me.

But when I went to order you said that to me.

I just agreed with you and sat down after ordering.

When you brought my drink over to me there was a paper Attached to the bottom of the cup.

It read: meet me behind the cafe after my shift

I sighed.

I had nothing better to do so why not?

Later when I met with you, you looked serious.

You took a deep breath before you spoke.

"Even after all these years I still feel the same. I've told you a hundred lies but now I'll tell you a single truth, I love you. I still love you. Even after all this time."

I just looked at you.

"Don't expect me to just take you back. you hurt me so so badly. How can I even believe you when you say those three words? You've broken me in more ways than one."

"Alright then. I'll tell you everyday until you believe me."

I agreed to it.

If you were going to get me back you were going to have to earn it.
