Part 11~ He's Lying. I Can Tell.

    Friday, your POV

    Today's the day. Nicole and I are gonna go shopping for Halloween costumes after school,, yayyy. This morning as I rushed out the door, I made sure to grab enough money, because, let's all be honest here, Halloween costumes are expensive like what the hell.
The walk to school was quiet. Evan has stopped walking to school with me and started riding to school with Zoe in the morning, but earlier than I did, because he had "things to do". Yeah, and I bet those "things" are Zoe. But anyways, Evan and I barely spoke to each other anymore. He was always out with Jared, or over at the Murphy's, while I was home...alone...doubting myself sometimes. As for Jared.. there was something he wasn't telling me, because suddenly, he and Evan were the best of friends. And since then, Jared had been coming over less and less. I just since then felt alone.. I guess. Like, Jared and Evan had their own things going on, Zoe was hanging out with Evan, Nicole and Michael had been getting close, and I didn't want to third wheel, Jeremy had become an asshole, and Christine was obsessing over jAKe diLLiNGeR, and Mom had been busy with work. Well, I'm happy that Nicole and I will be able to hang out today.

~~~Time skip to lunch bc school is boring~~~

"Wow, I guess we have two asshole friends now." Michael mutters while munching on some fries. "Awh Micha don't say that.." Nicole says sympathetically to him. He doesn't say anything, instead he just holds Nicole's hand and rubs his thumb over it. They're so cute awhhh. Jared is on his computer visibly frustrated, while Christine is engaging in conversation with Nicole, who's hand is still engulfed in Michael's.
"Jared. Jare. Jarebearrr~" I say, finally getting his attention, yet getting visibly tense after the last name comes out of my mouth. "What Y/N?" He sighs, disinterested. "Hey," I frown. "What did I do to you?" "Ugh.. nothing I'm just tired.. I guess." He's lying. I can tell. But I won't tell him. "Oh I'm sorry Jare..." I say slowly taking his hand into mine, but he shakes it off without a word.
Oh. Okay. Be a bitch. I don't care. I focus on something else for the rest of lunch.
~~~Time Skip to After School~~~

"Hey Y/N/N, come on." Nicole says, motioning me over to Michael's P.T cruiser.
"Ah I've seen you've made Michael your personal chauffeur." I tell Nicole. Before she can answer, Michael replies, "Nah she just promised that she'd buy my seven eleven next time we go." Nicole nodded and soon we were off.

~~~Damn another time skip 😳~~~

"Thanks for driving us, Michael." I say as he drops us off. "No problem, Michael says, "Nicky, you'll text me when you guys are done?" "Yeah, see you then Micha."
As we walk over to the mall, I ask her, "So, you and Michael, ehhhh..?" I ask her suggestively, making her go red. "W-what.? No, we're just friends." She says. "Mmm-hmm." I say in a sarcastic tone.
When we get to the costume shop Nicole rushes over to something that caught her eye with my hand in hers. She shows me a blue fairy-type costume (haha I didn't know what she should have as a costume 😳 so oop) "Do you like this one?" She asks excitedly. "What, for me?" I ask sarcastically. "Hah, no for me. Do you like it?" "Yeah it's really pretty. It seems perfect for you." I tell her sincerely. "I'll try it on then, but first, you should pick yours out." She tells me happily.
~One Disney Channel Original Movie Dress-Up montage later~
"YESS. That one!" Nicole squeals. I'm currently wearing a Lolita-type dress, I feel like a doll. I can work with this. (Bro I promise the dress concept won't be super girly, Y/N will make a twist for the dress 😳) "Hmm yeah.. yeah I can work with this." I mutter. "What?" Nicole asks. "I like it, but I think I'm gonna get something else for it." I say. I get something to add the look (imma let it be a surprise for you guys too) while Nicole texts Michael. Then Nicole and I check out and walk to Michael's car in the parking lot.
"How was it?" Michael asks. "It went great, Micha, but you can't see, it's a surprise." Before he can respond I go, "What are you gonna smooch him in it?" and that shuts them up real quick.
Michael drops me off to my house, creating a great end to a great day.
