Sunday morning, I wake up and Tony's not in bed. I assume he's just downstairs so I get dressed and go downstairs.

"Goodmorning" his mom says and smiles at me "would you like some breakfast?"

"Yes please" I say and tony comes in from the garage. "Good Morning tony" I smile.

He comes up behind me and gives me a kiss on my cheek. "Goodmorning love"

"So mom, Xavier said that they are turning their basement into a basement suite, and they offered us to live there, and only pay half the rent they were going to ask. And I think that we're going to move."

"Oh.. okay"

"And, mads will have the baby in July, and I was wondering if you could be our babysitter so we, mainly Mads, can graduate, and we would pay you to do it since it's so much work."

"Oh, tony I would love to. And you don't have to pay me."

"Mom, we want to."

"If you insist."

"Thank you, Alice" I say

She gives tony and I both a plate of pancakes with fruit and whipped cream.

"I think I'm gonna try talking to my parents today."

"Okay, well, no rush"

After breakfast we sit at the kitchen table and play board games for awhile. Then we hear a knock at the door, ondreaz goes to get it. He comes back

"Madi, it's for you"

"Oh okay..." I get up and go to the door and it's my mom.

"Hey, can we talk outside"

"Yeah sure" I go outside and shut the door.

"honey, I'm so sorry your father and I reacted the way we did. It's just hard knowing our babygirl is having a baby before she's done highschool."

"Well, I'm not dropping out of school so I'm finishing it."

"How are you gonna finish school with a new born?"

"Well, Tony's mom said she would be the 'nanny' I guess you'd say, when September comes around because I'm having the baby in July."

"Oh.. you asked Tony's mom"

"Mom she worked as a nanny until a year ago when she decided to stop."

"I know... I'm sorry. I just thought you'd trust me more since I'm your mom"

"Well mom, I do trust Tony's mom more, because when I told her, she didn't yell at me and kick me out. She offered me a place to stay, and their dad built us a crib last night. You and dad over reacted."

"Hunny, were sorr-"

"No mom, your sorry, not dad. I'm not accepting dads apology til he comes and apologizes himself. And maybe you should apologize to tony too. I didn't get myself pregnant and he's already down on himself because he knows we made a mistake, and when you and dad yelled at us like that, it hurt him almost as much as it did me. And he's gonna love our baby more than he loves himself."

"Well fine, bring him out here."

"No, you can come inside" I open the door and start to walk inside.

"Tony come here please." I say and he comes to us.

"Yeah?"

"Madi's dad and I are sorry about the way We acted yesterday."

"it's fine." He says and stands there awkwardly.

"I think it's time for you to go." I say to my mom and she goes out the door.

We walk back to the table and sit back in our seats.

"How did it go?" His mom asks

"Well, she apologized on behalf of both my parents but I didn't accept my dads apology because he needs to apologize on his own... and he tried to make me abort the baby, which isn't an option. And never was."

"Oh hun I'm sorry" his mom says and gives me a hug. "Just give them time and they'll come around."

"Yeah, they love you baby" tony adds.

I nod. We play board games til about 2 and then I get tired so tony and I go take a nap.

He rubs my back the whole time I'm asleep and makes me as comfortable as I can be.
